sometimes i would go to adoption sites just to look at what sort of cats i would adopt. it'd be nice to have one in the future, should i live somewhere that accepts pets.

My Mom would do that every so often just to see what was in the shelters. I love dogs and have worked with them but I'm way more of a cat person and feel like they are way more easier to take care of.

We adopted our cats, a lady where we used to live rescues them and adopts them out. She doesn't charge anything but we gave her some money to help.

Most of ours have been ones we've found outside as kittens.

Most of my cats were adopted off the streets/from others who found them on the streets, except my current cat. My absolute sweetest kitty was a street adoption, she was a very shy kitten compared to the rest and grew up super gentle. Miss her every day.

Sometimes I think that it'd be nice to get a kitten and/or puppy, but then I realize that I don't want to own one so much as I just want to play and cuddle with them

because they're so fucking adorable

One of the major reasons I have cats over dogs is so I don't have to run home or be home at certain times to let the cat go to the bathroom. Wanna poo use the litter box. Gotta wee wee at 3 in the morning? Cool....use the litter box. I don't have to worry about waking up at all hours of the night for them to use the bathroom.

Haha pleased I'm not the only one who does that XD.

I'd love an older "lap cat" to snuggle with. But we aren't allowed any. Fortunately my neighbours cat is super friendly so I can cuddle him when I see him 😅.

I buy a specific brand from a national store chain. It is a bit more expensive than the cheapest dirt you can find for that purpose, and it works wonders.
