I've been filling out my common application over the past few days, and it honestly feels a bit surreal and nerve wracking. I've spent a lot of time over the past 4 years thinking about what I should do to increase my chances of getting into a good school and fantasizing about how great it's going to be. But something about actually going through the process makes it feel a lot closer and more "real" then before, college isn't just something that's going to happen "in a while" or "later"; it's somewhere I'm actually physically going to be within a year or so. I've prepared the best I can, but I can tell a whole new era of my life is rapidly speeding towards me, and that for better and worse, things are going to be a lot different circa September 2025 compared to now.
I hope you get better soon, that sounds horrible.I've been fighting the WORST stomach flu of my life since last week. It's insane.
Severe cramps, nausea, going to the toilet every 5 mins... A nightmare
So sorry! Drink peppermint tea, oatmeal, electrolytes -- and you should be okay. That sounds awful. :(I've been fighting the WORST stomach flu of my life since last week. It's insane.
Severe cramps, nausea, going to the toilet every 5 mins... A nightmare
I hope you feel better soon!I'm just wondering why it's lasting so long. Usually it's like a day tops.
I really have no immune system anymore.
get a second or possibly third opinion after another day or two if it's still not gone. i had a very bad sinus infection before covid and it took me three different visits to a walk-in clinic (was out of town when it happened) over the span of a week before i was finally on medication to kill the infectionI went in and they did nothing. Said it's just a virus and I'll get over it.

Oh man that sounds like so many places here in Edmonton. They've got a ton of roads ripped up for an LRT expansion from downtown to the west end of the city, and the main roadway that goes through the north end of the city is in the middle of a freeway coversion project and it's just such a disaster trying to get through there. And when the current LRT lines get expanded to the north and northwest, it's going to affect that road too so it's just one hot mess right after another ugh. They're making this highway from Burnside into Bedford and it's a MESS. They absolutely fucked up the area and I work near there so it's a headache.
Complete labyrinth of pylons.
I'd definitely get a second opinion if you can. I've been dealing with wicked congestion and I really need to get it checked again. It's starting to affect my sleep because I keep waking up every two hours to blow my nose so I can breathe, and that's even when taking nighttime decongestants.I went in and they did nothing. Said it's just a virus and I'll get over it.
