Akame Ga Kill

Anime and manga differs? I thought they're going for a on-point adaptation! Could you manga readers fill me in on the details as to how much they're deviating? With minimum spoilers, ofc.

I've read up to the newest chapter. I haven't really watched the anime, because I wanted to watch it when it finished because I liked the manga. So I've been only reading discussion threads on Reddit. So as far as I know they jumped from 30-something chapter to the 52nd chapter. Also as far as I know they missed an important fight including Esdeath(which revealed a really strong power) also pretty much missed a whole arc(Which had new villians and character development to some characters)

They will most likely go full FMA with an anime original ending.

Oh no.

Episode 21:

Also. Yeah. They skipped Lubbock's

and all. I guess it was too controversial for TV.

But the anime interpretation is good in its own right.

Eh, I get that this was vastly different from how the Manga did it, outside of a few things and how the deaths were spaced, but I don't mind it. This is Episode 21 and there are 24 episodes planned. I can see how they need to wrap it up. :)

Just recently got introduced to this animé by my youngest bro (he's such an animé freak :P). He mentioned something about the animé that I'll always keep in mind: never grow attached to any of the characters, because they'll die sooner or later. >.>

Ep21:

Spoiler:

So I finally caught up with the last few episodes of AGK after kinda slacking off in the past few weeks and...

Spoiler:

Just saw 21.

Spoiler:

I highly doubt the mangaka would copy story elements from the anime. Anime is almost always made to advertise the source material. They probably decided to make an anime original ending because they want to end the series. This move by the studio probably indicates that most likely there won't be a season 2.

Episode 22!

Spoiler:

I love AGK !! One of the favs ! the action are good ! and I really love fantasy types ! I like tatsumi too !

Anime original, bleh. Would've preferred had they followed the manga and stopped for a second season. :<

That said, though, I can't really say I was too affected by that character death. :p I have yet to watch episode 22 though - which I'll be doing and reporting my impressions of in a while.

Agreed in some matters, Never mind that, I've only watched 5 or some episodes. I am not updated with details either. But I do know some new news up to episode 25 or something I guess So what happens after she decides to search and find Night Raid ? And what happened after her mind Flows back to orge? I she seeing her teacher or something as I remember. I wish can get the next episode ;~;

Kind of a shame that they're not going to be continuing for a second season and they're following an anime-original ending. I just started to get into the show, and now it's going to be stopping :(
