Ugh, this reminds me of a day in school, it was showering like crazy.
School ends, bus area is FILLED with water. My shoes soak in water and I did not want that, so I took them off, and waded across the pool(which I was knee deep in).
Walk around the entire area, still pouring like hell, go to the end of the bus area to find and board my bus, no luck.
Wade through to the front area, no luck. At this point, I was soaked, so were my shoes, and I was done wading in murky water. So I climbed the pavement which separated the bus area with the plants growing there. It was a bit higher, and I needed to get my bearings somehow.
As I was walking, a kid behind me says to his friend, "Don't go down there are open potholes."
And I heard it, got down, because what was the chance that I would land into one from where I was standing? Answer: 100%.
Me, my bag, my shoes(which were soaked, don't see why I was carrying them at this point), were all shoulder deep in a hole, as I was being dragged out. At one point I was underwater for a moment.
I get up, with a fair amount of cursing, knees and elbows bruised, and guess where the bus was.
LITERALLY TO MY RIGHT.
So yeah... to reiterate, I'm dumb! 😅
TL;DR: I fell in a pothole filled with rainwater rainwater.
What was that one dish you tried for the first time and INSTANTLY fell in love with?
