Oh my goodness...Impo, Misheard Whisper! Where did y'all come from? xD Nice to see you both! :3

stick around if you caaaan~

From the woodwork, of course, where I've been lurking for, what, five years now on and off?

Back when I first joined, I was strictly a lurker. Something about the size of the forum intimidated me, so I refrained from posting. A few months ago, I decided to post around a bit, and haven't looked back since. Coming on here every day acts as a stress reliever for me, somehow. The community is awesome, probably the best one out there :]

I was active on and off for a month at most before April of 2012, since after that my activity spiked up quite a bit; After Christmas of 2013 I finally settled in enough to call this place my home. It's my social life where my IRL one lacks, and I need it.

I will admit I was rather intimidated by different threads like the DCC, as they moved so fast and I kind of felt swept away. I got used to it though :p

I was a lurker for most of my PC tenure....until last year that is.

Holy smokes, this is so me haha. Even today I'm pretty much intimidated by...the entire site. I also have no idea what to say so there's that too... I'm definitely trying to post in the DCC more though.

Just say whatever comes to mind! Half the time the DCC is almost like a poll on whatever the topic is anyway.

My general period of inactivity started after I was let go from the staff mostly because I was already drifting away from the forum due to personal issues and just never really came back for long. I'm making an effort to become more actively involved now, though.

So many peeps I've seen before coming back to PC. It's summer so I guess it's quite normal. :D

When I first joined in 2008 I was very active for a while. I got busy in late 2009 and just kind of drifted away. I've been lurking ever since. I've been trying to get more active in the community again but work likes to get in the way.

My Little Alcoholic: Drinking is Magic

Back when I joined, I always thought PC was such an intimidating community because of how large it was. I remember last year when I made the turning point to becoming an active member here, and I always wondered to myself why I wasn't able to become as active as I did when I originally became a member.
I think at some point you just get sucked in, and gradually get used to all the people, and the size, and learn familiar faces. I remember when I came back some months ago, I had to readjust to all the people, and who was who.. xD; It's almost like a school or classroom setting. hah. It's fun, though, and I'm not sure why I stayed inactive for so long. It's fun to keep up.

Yeah, now I definitely regret refusing to post back when I first joined. After experiencing it for a while and knowing how much fun it is to be a part of the community, I feel like I was really missing out back then, haha. I'm also intrigued about PC's history, what was going on before I joined. It's really entertaining to go back a year or so and read the old topics, get a feel for how it was like back then o:

I was sort of the opposite when I first joined PC. I wasn't intimidated by it at all at first, but then I only really stuck around one section (that being the RP Corner). However, as time went by, I began feeling more and more intimidated by members and staff alike to the point where I felt like I couldn't post here anymore. I ended up staying away from PC for two years, and though I tried coming back a few times, was just too intimidated ;; However, last month I decided to give it another shot and make a new account (this one) since my original one had too many bad memories. Don't feel as intimidated as I did previously, and I'm enjoying posting around here again~

Kinda wish I joined PC back around...2005-2006...where everything around here was just sooo interesting and sooo much fun. Not that I'm saying PC is not fun today, because I am enjoying every single minute of it. It's really fun to read old topics, as well as learning about those old-old-old members that joined before 2010 or so who were around during those "fun" times on PC.

Being an FC&G mod, I hatched an idea to bring back Member FCs on April Fools day this year and it felt like pre-2010 all over again. :3

I wished I joined earlier than 2011 so I could have seen how different the forum looked back then, but still I did witness a fair share of forum changes during my 3 years as a member here. In fact, I witnessed three changes to the supporter system in that period of time. In fact, ever since becoming supporter I did get more active (I guess I could thank being able to access the VIP Forum for that, because it made me put ideas forward that I couldn't previously) but also I had three different name color changes - first I had a blue name, then it became green and now it's blue again albeit a lighter shade from the original blue.

Had it not been for Oryx giving me what was my best birthday gift ever, I probably would not have stuck around.
