Maybe in PC 2.0 we'll have the option to reorder categories on the forumhome and we can put this category wherever we want.

(Hint, hint, admins... feature request!)

"Special forums" heheheheh

So special. Cool.

We all look so pretty!~ *Cuteness intensifies* though, I may donate a bit more so I can get blue

My sig already pretty much matches my username. XD I've been trying to keep it that way because it makes it looks so pretty. <3 I thought of going platinum, but I really like the blue that Crystal supporters get because it's so beautiful. Plus, I'd have to redo my sig to match it again, and I don't think it would come out as well.

your theme is super cute haha and you really do have a nice color balance there. but i mean, you eventually get tired of themes no matter how good and you could easily make a new one feat. plat colors when that time comes, yeah? :3

the only concession i made to the changes was to revamp my profile for the first time in two years because guess what? it's hard to see blue on blue (ಠ_ಠ) matched up accents with the pretty crystal tho.

liking the "community supporter" text as well tbh. didn't think i would but it makes such a pretty frame around the usertitle that i can't be mad. <3

I end up changing my themes like... less than once a week because I don't have a current obsession right now. I tend to just find whatever works or would look good with the blue. XD I try to make my signature easy to use, but it also depends on the PC skin I'm using too. At one time, I had blue and yellow, but the yellow didn't show up on the lighter themes, so I think I had to make it a more bolder yellow.

I really love the colors though. Like, all of the supporter colors. <3

oh god i know how that is haha. with me it's usually like... the thing i made isn't so cool that i want to keep it, or i keep having new ideas i want to show off, or figuring out some code that i want to play with, or just can't pick a thing. I try to make it really easy to see if i'm going simplistic- there's very few colors that are truly visible on all PC skins so I tend to stick with special-names or default colors. but that's a hassle and not often true to what i want to design so i usually end up with some kind of background color with a light texture on it. that's only on the rare occasion that i don't go with a big bg image. :P

imma agree because the new colors are just glorious gosh the gold i was so apprehensive about but it looks so great IM TALKING SO MUCH TODAY OH MY GOD

I can actually make themes, but it takes me a lot of effort to do so. >< Plus, GIMP has been a real ♥♥♥♥♥ lately by crashing on me. x_x That's why I like using icons instead. XD I do agree though. I'm actually surprised the blue goes so well with the crystal blue too. It wasn't easy to make it match like that, that's for sure.

Ahaha I didn't even realize it was a different color? I thought it just seemed a tiny bit off because italics vs bold/normal. I usually use Chrome's handy "inspect element" tool to grab exact colors from anywhere~

GIMP's been bad for you? D: that's sad to hear. it's been working beautifully for me since i actually updated it. that's what i use for everything <33 i love icon stuff but i hate trying to edit them all similarly enough to match well bleah. also icon sigs are regrettably falling out of the norm. :( i'm always happy when i see people using icons in sigs or in avatars because the general mood right now seems to be bigger is better and there's distain on the cute lil 100x100s

Yeah the supporter colors look so beautiful... I never liked having a green username before then. It was really not my color, because well you know. I always like to make my signatures simple but also look good at the same time, and while I did occasionally use CSS they didn't really work out in the end because I could only stick to one coding easily.

In fact, it was Syd and Megan who inspired my current signature formatting.

I'd imagine the work you have to go through, I get most of my pics off Tumblr instead and if any need a bit of modification for my avatar I do just that, like cropping and/or resizing. I also occasionally get my Pokemon sprites off Bulbapedia or Serebii, or otherwise PkParaiso in the case with the animated XY models. As for my profile, I'm not sure if I should ever try a new design because I was testing another Oshawott-themed one and for some reason everything clashed.

I guess why my current one (dat black ooh la la) stuck around so long was because every username color was easily visible on it and I am quite OCD when it comes to color coordination.

I really should try different colors for what BBcode I insert in my usertitle, maybe even make them match whatever avatar/sig I'm using. That's my fave blessing with the new supporter system.

oh my god what you have on your usertitle is hecka cute right now tho hika i love that font with that line. don't think it would look as good in grey or pink (which would complement your diancie theme). well, maybe a dark grey. but idk i like that a lot haha

Photoshop CS6 makes themes and avatars too easy. And my copy's in German.

By far the coolest feature I've applied to avatar and signature construction is indexing with the Save for Web and Devices dialog. If you're saving a pre-indexed image and the dialog is initialized to render as a GIF or PNG-8 (if it's not you can switch to it, click Done and then reload it), it will beautifully render the swatches in your palette by hue, making a relative rainbow depending on what colours you're using (even though nobody sees it, I still care).

To me, the only web images I don't render as 8-bit GIFs are ones that use alpha transparency only available with 32-bit PNGs, as I despise using transparency with GIFs at all unless it's supposed to be rendered without translucency (such as with Pokémon sprites or whathaveyou).

I used the font "Gloria Hallelujah" so yeah look out for that when you're formatting text and stuff, and I basically bolded it. I'm not going to go too heavy on colors yet, it's so I can get the hang of it.
