Competitive battling is like playing a game of chess, but in much faster motion. I love it, and have been into this seen since 2010, which is about four years ago. Haven't been practicing regularly since last year, though, so my skills have started to tone-down a bit. If I pick myself back up, I'm sure I'll be back to normal in no time.

Most entertaining part of competitiveness is building a good team; if yours is decent and could take down opponents, then you'll be climbing up the ladder pretty easily. If not, then, well, you might have to re-think your strategy.
 
I've only ever randombattled 8) That's a lot of fun though, and I don't at all lose every time despite not knowing much. Perhaps I'm just lucky, or daring and actually smart. I don't know haha.
 
Wow, I must've been really unlucky the past few times I've tried PS out. Literally four times in a row, my opponent bailed on me, and two of them weren't even decided yet! One of them was when my Thunderbolt paralyzed his Pokemon, and the other I simply hit two Focus Blasts in a row, which he characterized with some words that I won't repeat, haha D:

Was it something along the lines of "stupid hax?" I've seen people use words like this so many times, it's unbelievable.

You should come onto PC's battle server then. On my experiences there, the only time people bail is if they go idle.
 
You dont really need to be a battler to join the battle server. I rarely do battles but Im a regular there. If that is something that you are bothered about, dont be.

Anyways, got my name change today haha.
 
You don't need to battle competitively to be active, guys. We have random battles, and random battles are pretty fun. :)

& I don't think I'm changing my name afterwards, unless Shining Armour wants to go back to quilzel, and/or I get reeeeeally obsessed with a nascar driver then. xD
 
I don't get my name change until July something. :( I want to change it to the Tenth Doctor. <3 I love him so much. >w<

I know but... even just being there would cause a lot of bad memories for me. I'd rather not even be there if I can help it. :/
 
Even though the username thingy in the "Edit Profile" section says I can change tomorrow (like it can for most, if not all people, I assume) I'm guessing I'll still have to wait 'til September or so to change it. Still, I like this username a lot, and given how surprised I was it wasn't taken, I might keep it for a long time ;w; I could give this name to an alt. as a name holder if I decide to change it, but eh, dunno if I wanna do that.

re: battling, I love Randbats so much, even if I end up getting unlucky with my team. Challenge Cup is pretty fun, too, haha.
 
I think I'll be able to change my username starting tomorrow, but not sure if I'm going to. Probably wait it out and see if I find anything I really like d:

Tried randbats before, it's a lot of fun, and the few times I've done it I've been quite lucky, haha. Not sure that I prefer it over NU battles, but it's certainly a good time. n__n
 
I know it's been months since I changed to this name, but nope I'll be keeping Hikamaru as my username until the day I end up retiring from this community.

And of course randbats are fun! Yesterday I managed to sweep 4/6 of Windy's team with just a Dragonite.

that said, i might change for three months a year or so but i'm going to be sticking with EternallyAnna or Anna as the name I'll revert to
 
I still remember you as "TheSmartOne", Anna, haha.

There have definitely been times where I've said "hey I like this username I'm gonna keep it" only to become attached to another animanga or video game character or name and change to that. That might end up being the case here; only time will tell.

Speaking of, I just checked the username changing feature in the Edit Profile field and it still says I can't change my name despite it being the 2nd here.

I can't change until September or so, which... just sucks, haha. To me, it seems like a very long wait. I'm grabbing Peitharchia back as soon as I get the chance.

Peitharchia is a name I've always found pretty, but I just got used to Endless so :( they're both good! On the topic of name changes, got mine this morning. Loving it, considering it exemplifies my love for Touhou Project~
 
August for me... However I don't think I'll change so soon... I'd like to keep the people who liked ShadowE more butthurt ;D

I always liked Peitharchia, that was my fave of your names so far. But Endless is not too bad either so yeah I'm happy with it!

Libra is quite an interesting one on you, although it's leading to some people thinking that's your real Zodiac sign (which I know you clearly aren't, given your birthday isn't in the range of September 23-October 23) only for you to show them it was based on the character in your forumset.

Still, I think it looks pretty cool nonetheless.
