Chit-Chat: [CSDCC] the weather channel

Lol. Clopening. That's the best sounding word I've heard for a while.
 
Target stores typically open at 8 AM (I know this because they're everywhere in Minnesota and they, with some exceptions, apply the same hours and layout to every store nationally, and only Minnesota really ever gets any "pilot" store types).

Clopening aptly describes that situation.

I've generally had jobs with more rigid 8 hour schedules that don't change. So I fortunately don't know the joys of fluid shift work very well at all.

On the flip side, salary work in many fields means that you're expected to work as long as it takes to get the work done. Case in point: it is 12:02 AM and I am at work trying to fix something that broke, though I came back in at about 11 PM to start trying to fix it. And then I'm expected to be in right away at 8 AM and stay until at least 5 PM for my normal work day.
 
I just want a job so I can get money! And I think I've just got my future secured. I have no idea how I keep getting lucky like this. Maybe I actually work hard enough after all.

Doing two internship placement programs right now so that hopefully will secure a good paying job for the summer if I can make it through x_x
 
You can do it! You just gotta believe in yourself. c:

I don't know what career I want to take in life so that's why I'm at the job I'm at now. But on the upside I actually did go up in position which I didn't think was ever going to happen when I first got the job and my manager is trying to push me up a bit more so hey it's working out I guess.
 
Promotions look really good on your resume. Which is one reason why I decided to stay at the company I'm in right now, and got the job I wanted.

You can work hard, but you gotta earn it with respect though.

I have this disorder where I canNOT stick to one username (switched two weeks ago, switching again in two weeks lmaoooo).
