    Totally a real dictionary said:
    CUVMPS: {Kuh - Vum - Pss} [Can't Use Visitor Messages Properly Syndrom]

    1. A type of mental disorder causing procrastination, neglection, or avoidance of Visitor Messages. Possibly contagious.

    So, do you have CUVMPS?
    Have you ever?
Do you know somebody with CUVMPS?

I've never really experienced this. I am very fast when it comes to replying to VMs most of the time because I like receiving fast responses as well. Occasionally I will forget to respond to one, but 99% of the time you will get an immediate response from me if I am online.

I always try to respond to my visitor messages, because when I don't, it feels as if I'm disrespecting these people. I may forget to answer to some VMs every now and then, but I reply to them as soon as I get reminded of them. The only time that I don't respond to a VM is when I have no idea what to say to the person, haha.

I usually respond to visitor messages right away, because I'm worried I may hurt one's feelings if I don't but given that I could be doing other things it can take a while before I respond to a VM. The only times I forget to respond to one is if I don't know what to say. But if you see me online, expect me to respond to your VMs quickly.

I have never actually heard of that word until now.
I reply to my VM/PMs as soon as I notice I have one.

I do my best to respond to VMs as fast as I can. In some cases, I don't reply at all, probably because I don't really know what to say.

I never use visitor messaging, but recently there have been a few members I've shared messages with. I'll reply as soon as I can. If there isn't anything to reply to or move the conversation forward (which I'm really bad at by the way!), I leave it at that.

I'm terrible when it comes to VMs =P

I have 8 stacked right now, and I just don't want to deal with them. >< The saddest part is, there's no rhyme or reason to why I don't want to aside from laziness. That being said, when I do get around to doing them, I keep doing them if someone immediately responds. =D

I have VMs off right now because I don't really want to hold any one-on-one conversations at this point in time. But normally when I do have VMs on I try my best to respond to them. I don't respond to all of them which I'm sure bothers some people but when I don't respond to them it's usually because I can't find anything to say, I saw it on my phone and then forgot about it, or (sadly) I'm not in the mood to be responding to any VMs right now. There's also laziness but I think that goes along with the third thing I has said.

When I'm online, know what to say, and so forth though I respond to them fairly quickly.

Hahahaha. No, I don't have it (right?). I do know some who do though! Lazy bastards, and they call themselves my friends...

I admit that I sometimes see that I have new VMs and think that I'll reply later since I might be in a hurry - and most often I do. Unless it was an obviously ended conversation or really no need to reply back at all. I enjoy having VM conversations. Serious or crazy. Sometimes I have lengthy convos with people through PMs too, but my PM box tends to get filled up xD and somehow we always leave a huuuge pile of quotes before the actual message and that's so annoying. Better to just have the previous conversation listed like in VMs.

I want to say no, but there's times that I'm rushing through PC or I'm gone for a few days, so maybe. But there's no reason I really avoid VMs.

    So no?

I've seen people with it though. Not mentioning any names though, 'cause that would be rude. :P

You could probably use me in a study about CUVMPS. My VMs will sit for days on end. They did when I was super active, and they still do now (I visit daily, just don't post and VM as much as I used to). I don't know if there was ever a time where I was consistently on top of my VMs.

It's not that I hate people, it's just that, well, I avoid it for reasons. I'm not really sure why anymore. Most likely pure laziness. :(

I never thought this certain habit many of us have can be classified as a disease. I need to read more science magazines.

But unfortunately, I tend to have it as well. There are times that I'm on a VM and I'm like "what to respond after? omg" and I'm just left with nothing to say so I leave the VM hanging, hoping the other person isn't expecting the convo to hang on. I can't say that I really suck responding to VMs, because I do try my best, but there are times that I just...don't respond. xD

I am typically the slowest replier to VMs since slow came to Slow Town. It's to the point that I wind up wanting to redirect people to my Skype instead.

I don't have the Pokecommunity tab always open so there's always a chance I might forget to reply to a VM. My Profile has been somewhat derelict the past week or two, though, as my general activity in this forum, because I've been quite busier than I was during the summer.

Yeah, I put off replying to VMs all the time. In my head I justify it by going "I'll reply to a bunch of them all at once so it takes less time" but I'll often let it get to the point where it would just be awkward to reply to them after so long so I just don't reply at all. :(
