I'm one with Larry on this. I absolutely love reptiles and think they're adorable. I always wanted a pet dinosaur.
Used to have a pet leopard gecko named George though. He was awesome :3

woo yeah, high five! dude velociraptors are my favorite dinosaur ever.
something about their vicious structure really stands out to me.

That face. I want to boop that nose right now.

Unfortunately I don't know if I could handle the feeding of snakes so they're not a pet option for me. :( But I would so take one otherwise. I've had people seem surprised that I don't suddenly freak out upon realizing there's a snake around.

Actually, if I went for any kind of reptile, it might have to be a bearded dragon. Those are cool.

aww yeah, snakes are cute but dang are they monstrous.
i can advocate for the coolness of bearded dragons. i held one once when i was eight.. it was awesome.

guys i really like snakes a lot, but i've never owned one and that makes me kind of sad. :(
have any of you ever owned one? what was it like? what kind were they?

Our landlady in Colorado had a bearded dragon she'd keep on her shoulder and sneak in her shirt in public. Sometimes it would just stand as still as can be trying to be majestic, it was cute when he'd open his mouth

Who I really miss though was her cat Puffers... he growled so cutely because he was old, and couldn't hardly see to find his food. He was so big though, like physically speaking. I was told he was bigger than that in his youth.

Ah, yeah. I remember reading about that on Facebook today. I don't remember too much about what he was other than playing Spock (?) on Star Trek. Well, he most certainly did live long and prosper.

Damn that is a shame. It seems a lot of our greatest are now passing on and its saddens me both by this and by the fact there is a widening gap in that culture that we have all come to love.

This topic has like 12 views for every one post in it. Coome onnnnnnn

Spock died, and all I can remember right now is Eric Cartman saying big dongs and prosper

I hope you like my fanart.

Spoiler:
This thread is a downer every god damn morning I come in. First that Carlin vid from Thomas a week ago, now this. Can you guys just stop it with the nostalgia/downer posts, its gonna get me into a depression! ;_;

I never watched much of the classic Star Trek but he played such an iconic character so it's no wonder his death impacted most of the fanbase. Still, it was great to see him live that long and he'll be remembered not just for Spock but pretty much everything else he was in.

I find it bad that I'm not even thinking about him as Spock first and foremost, even though by all rights I should. All I can think about is his character from Fringe.

Totally forgot he was in Fringe. But yes! Amazing role.

I'm most satisfied that despite his death he both lived long and prospered. :)

On a more positive note, I've made some lovely tea and deep-fried some french fries for breakfast. It's so relaxing to have a nice meal and chill on the PC Minecraft server, dabbling in Skype and on the forums. :)

That sounds like an amazing morning :) personally I am exhausted from the last days of partying and work, and just had a slooow breakfast while watching some tv series.

That reminds me of something that happened back when I was younger. My brother who was about 8 brought one of his friends over to play PES on the PS3. It was late morning and apparently the kid had just woken up. His parents were both at work, so he brought fries from yesterday's McDonald's leftovers (their family rarely cooked meals, only ordered - you could also tell from the kid's appearances) and had them for breakfast. He had apparently completely forgotten how to wash his hands, because after he left, not only the room smelled like soggy fries, but the controller reeked of it for like a month afterwards.

Also, RIP Leonard Nimoy. Great actor, never watched Star Trek but still.
