Hugs for you too king! Don't overwork yourself!
Incredulous.
Story time. Needed to have blood medication levels checked. Specifically wanted the trough (the lowest point). Expected it to be performed prior to the next infusion treatment, either the day of or the day before said infusion. Receives an infusion every 8 weeks.
Went to a normal physician's office, 2 weeks after the last infusion. Requested the monthly blood draw orders from Doctor W. Evidently included the blood medication level test in there. Was not aware of that. Figured that order went to the infusion center. Performed blood draws at the infusion center before. Makes sense for them to handle it, right?
Spoke with one of Doctor W's nurses. Planned to sort out billing. Sent the blood medication test order to the infusion center.
Returned to the normal physician's office, 6 weeks after the last infusion. Named specific blood tests from Doctor W, as well as one for Doctor B. Specifically stated not to do the blood medication level test. (Spotted it in the patient website while looking up names for the other ones.)
Just received blood medication test results today. Did it anyways. Come on. (Plus side: Indicated low levels, even at that early stage. Slipped in before the upcoming infusion on Monday. Hopefully increases the dose now, rather than waiting 8.5 weeks.)
Should never become a diplomat for reasons like this.
Hugs for each of you! Including the hug giver ;)
