EMOTION Round 3

Tired. Needed to order medicine. Waited for the pharmacy to sort out financial assistance for ten days. (Costs a large amount of money with insurance otherwise.) Could not use the same method as last year, despite having the same insurance. (Kept it the same to prevent this sort of thing.)

Called the medical company last week about this, per the pharmacy's instruction. Waited 50 minutes straight on hold. Would review it. Said to call the pharmacy back next Friday (today), if the pharmacy did not call first. Claimed there was plenty of time to order the medication. (Takes this medication every 8 weeks.)

Fast-forward to today. Apparently never reviewed it. Spawned a whole lot of phone calls in the space of three hours. In order:
Pharmacy -> Devalue
Pharmacy -> Medical company
Pharmacy -> Devalue
Devalue -> Medical company
Medical company -> Pharmacy
Medical company -> Insurance company
Devalue -> Pharmacy

Probably waited on hold for around another 50 minutes today, in all. Squared it all away today...hopefully. Figured out a new way for it to not cost exorbitant amounts of money. Will get the medicine a day late, though. Totals three weeks from first trying to order it to actually (hopefully) receiving it.

Thank goodness for the cell phone network not being down today, also.

What an ordeal!
I offer you my best wishes for you to receive your medicine swiftly, Devalue, and to have a good rest.

Better now, but had a panic attack earlier and that made the second half of the day really hard. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. 🥲

I hope things get better for you boss! :mareepwave:

Sorry to hear this, Sheep... I wish you to feel better as soon as possible.

And I wish you a swift and good recovery, Corrin.

Thank you everyone <3
Kinda frustrated about my cough but what can you do?
I'm so sorry. I know it's been really hard for you and feel awful. Has it at least been getting a bit better..?

Fresh and smiling; new morning and new day, so let's see what it has in stores for me !
