Talk about all fitness things here!

Your habits, workouts, thoughts, philosophy, ambitions, fears, regrets. Also related things like diets and sports you play. Pictures if you're into that I suppose but PG-13.

Do you have a gym membership? Do you work out alone or with friends? Cardio or weightlifting or real sports (lol)? Maintain a diet or nah? Strict or nah? Indoors or outside? Role models or nah? Personal trainer or nah? Thought about getting a personal trainer or nah? Confident or is your self-image crippled by gym class in the public school system?

I was thinking about making a club but I don't know if there's enough interest for that.

Here's a fitness pug to get you started:

    Spoiler:

I joined the new gym in town around.....April(?) and I've been working out there no less than 4 times a week ever since.

I mainly do cardio since I'm currently trying to slim down, but I do lift on the side so I don't go flabby.

Used to lift weights and was in a boxing club but because of certain circumstances that made workouts exceedingly difficult for me I had to stop.

I do light workouts if I can, though. I wanna be in shape, y'kno.

working out's cool, I lift every day and try to do cardio at least twice a week but that's harder for me what with my knee problems. I started lifting in high school so I could bulk up for basketball and I guess it just stuck. also my sister is a personal trainer so that makes it easier. I donnu I just like how I'm a lot happier when I stay healthy

I'm pretty bad diet wise tho, I eat a lot of terrible food. but I do stay away from sugar and caffeine so that counts for something I guess

My work has me on my feet and moving around for eight hours a day. I may not be drenched in sweat at the end of the day, but it is tiring nonetheless. I do also like to play disc golf every one in a while, which you will get drenched in sweat after eighteen holes and hiking around in the forest. Overall, I'm not too active, but I'm decently fit and avoid too much junk food, so it's something.

    Workouts? No thank you.

    Bring on the weight!
Only got one life to live and food is one of if not the best thing about it.
    Get fat(ter) or die trying.

I've only very recently started working out on treadmill to get back in shape.

I didn't care about my health for a long time and postponed any sort of effort to lose weight but I've had an embarrassing moment a few days ago that pushed me over the edge.

I've worked out a few times, but nowadays I just have zero time. I need to make some time for myself to actually dedicate to that. Sure, my boyfriend thinks I looks okay no matter how much I weigh, but I don't want to work out to lose weight, I want to work out because I want to feel fit and healthy.

run two miles on the treadmill (takes about 20 minutes)
bench press (needs to be first because if i do it any later i literally can't get past my first set)
    pectoral fly
    barbell curl
    lateral downpull
    tricep pulldowns
    row machine

and that's my upper body routine.

trying to incorporate dumbbells into my routine but idk what.

I don't workout at the guy. I just do sports, like swimming and playing football. Last year though, I did turn around my life. I was 12 at the time, so I was pretty overweight. I went from being 128lbs (58kg) going to 101lbs (46kg).

Apparently, 101lbs was too light comparing my height, so the doctor told me I had to gain atleast 4 pounds. That's what I did, and now I stand at 106lbs (48kg). I still believe I need to gain weight at least 6 pounds of muscle, And I'll be good.

The thing is I used to be ashamed of my body and now I'm not. I'm comfortable in body now. All I'm thinking about having fun in summer. When summer ends, I'll found on these 6 pounds. I'll post some before and after photos when I find them to show how much I changed. One thing for sure. Eating clean is no fun but it becomes a lifestyle.

I run occasionally. I swim occasionally. I eat well sometimes.

I wouldn't say I'm exceptionally fit but I'm healthy enough. I wouldn't do anything overly strenuous to get temporarily fitter in the short term but run the risk having crippling injuries down the line! I'd just like to be reasonably healthy for as long as possible I guess.
