"Fix" a "forgotten" Pokemon

In this thread, your task is to "fix" a "forgotten Pokemon"/Pokemon you find underrated that you think would make it more relevant in your eyes.

Redesigned Stantler.

Appearance changes
- Girthier horns. Calls it the "Big Horn Pokemon". Own it.

- Softer eyes. Looks perturbed as-is. (Technically fits with Intimidate. Intends to drop that, however.) Seemed docile in (some of) its animations.

- A space motif. Plays on a Pokedex entry: "Staring at its antlers creates an odd sensation as if one were being drawn into their centers." Begins with a subtle, swirling effect on the black balls of its antlers. Suggests very dark brown fur with stars and a large, Saturn-like planet across its body. Morphs the white underbelly into a comet streaking towards its back.

Combat Changes
- Steps out from Tauros's shadow into its own niche. (Weighs in below all of Tauros's stats except Special Attack.) Becomes a full-fledged mixed attacker. Boasts a surprising range of physical (Jump Kick, Earthquake, Wild Charge, and Zen Headbutt), special (Thunder/Thunderbolt, Psychic/Psyshock, Shadow Ball, and Energy Ball), and other (Hypnosis, Calm Mind, Trick Room, Thunder Wave, and dual screens) moves already.

- Increases from 465 total base stat points (identical to Magneton) to 510. Plays with 45 stat points. Allocates 20 to Speed, 10 to Attack, and 15 to Special Attack. Creates new base stats of 73 Hitpoints, 105 Attack, 62 Defense, 100 Special Attack, 65 Special Defense, and 105 Speed. Ought to be more menacing.

- Drops Intimidate for a new ability: Warp Reality. Changes its physical moves to special and vice-versa. Say hello to special-based Earthquakes. Becomes much tougher to predict.

- Learns a unique move: Eight Point Impact. Strikes the target with its antlers. Applies a strange, crushing pressure upon impaling them. Types it as a Normal move. Hits for 40 power twice: once physical-based and once special-based. (Considered dropping its power slightly for a +1 boost to either Attack or Special Attack too.) Works with Sap Sipper, if you prefer that ability instead of its new one.

Luvdisc

(An overhated Pokemon if you ask me)

First off, giving it an evolution that'll make it stand out more. Not necessarily making Luvdisc evolve into Alomamola, but any evolution would do. And maybe perhaps raising its bst to maybe 400. I'd also change its ability to Regenerator and make it more of a healer pokemon. Also change up the design a little, maybe adding a small crown motif or something so it's not just a simple sideways heart with a face.

I'm not sure if it's forgotten, but I always wished Vikavolt was faster. It just looks like it should be speedy to me, but is kinda bad in the Speed department.
So fix it by making it a lot faster ^.^

I'd remove the Spearow line's Normal type, so that way they're at least a little more memorable by not having that infuriatingly common Normal/Flying typing.
Aesthetically, you know what'd be cool? Spearow and Fearow look too much like generic birds, so I think giving them more interesting designs would do them justice. Fearow learns quite a few "drill" moves, so I think it'd be pretty cool if we made the Spearow line look like drills or other construction equipment. Give them some extra black-and-yellow plumage too, why not. They'd be great partner Pokémon for Workers!
I'd give the Spearow line Brave Bird because for some reason they can't learn it. In line with how I'd redesign them, I'd also give Spearow Drill Run.
There's no reason for us to have two early-game birds, so I'd make the Spearow line more late-game, and accordingly I'd buff their stats. Add some Attack, and especially some HP, since a lot of Fearow's dex entries say it has great stamina.

I'd change the Pidove line similarly. They're just unbelievably bland, aside from Unfezant having gender differences (and even female Unfezant looks terrible). I'd make them pure Flying-types too.
Design-wise, I'd change Tranquill to look a little more colorful, and give it some gender differences as well (maybe male Tranquill have brighter plumage?). I'd make male Unfezant more like a peafowl, with cooler, showier plumage, and I'd make female Unfezant plumper and more like a turkey.
I'd give male Unfezant the ability Intimidate, as well as buff its HP a bit, and I'd give female Unfezant a lot more bulk in exchange for Attack and Speed. That way, we bascically have two unique Pokémon for the price of one!

Patrat and Watchog need some changes too, especially since Lillipup is another early-game Normal-type. Let's make them Normal/Psychic. Let's give them Psychic-type moves, better Special Attack, and Dazzling too, for the heck of it.

Something that's bothered me about Generation V's Pokémon is how strangely some types are represented. For example, all the (non-Legendary) Psychic-types are either pure Psychic or Psychic/Flying. So let's make the Elgyem line Ghost/Psychic. We kinda have too many pure Psychic-types as it stands.

Goldeen is...certainly a Pokémon. Why does it exist when we already have Magikarp as our ubiquitous Water-type? Goldeen evolves at a later level than Magikarp, and yet Seaking is still a terrible Pokémon; really the only thing it does to stand out is have Lightning Rod as an ability. Let's give Seaking a cooler horn and boost its Attack and Speed a bunch, why not. Let's give it Electric attacks too.

Bruxish is an often forgotten one, but I hate its design so much that that's pretty much the only thing I'd change about it. Why does it have fangs? If it can chew through shells, it shouldn't have fangs; give it a beak. Guess we'll have to change "Psychic Fangs" to "Psychic Crunch" or something. Beak aside, I still really dislike its design. So you know what? Let's make it monochrome and give it actual dazzle camouflage. Let's make it look a bit more like a submarine too, why not. Maybe its current color scheme could be used for its Shiny form then, or for some laughs we can make its Shiny form yellow for a Beatles reference.

Oh yeah, Wormadam and Mothim exist. Give Wormadam better bulk and make Mothim a better sweeper, I guess.

Tropius is one of my favorite Pokémon, and it's a shame not many people care about it, and that its stats are horrid. Its highest stat is 99 in HP, and it's very slow for a Flying-type. I'd give it better stats all around, especially because you'd think a sauropod would be able to dish out some damage and take it. It gets freakin' Dragon Dance, so it'd be nice if it could actually use it.

I would give Butterfree Spore, being a step up from Sleep Power. It can already learn Quiver Dance so this could give it an easier time boosting stats without the worry of missing.

Also it's special defense stat is 80, so it's HP stat and defense stat would be pushed to 80. It's just too frail.

It pretty much already has that. Compound Eyes + Sleep Powder: 97,5 accuracy. Even better with the fact that it can now learn Hurricane.

Tinted Lens is still the better ability, and with spore there wouldn't be the need to choose between the two anymore. Unless you really just want hurricane, but even with compound eyes still has a chance of missing.

Dewgong suuuuuuuucks. It evolves way too late for how weak it is, is always worse than the other Ice types you have available, has a forgettable design, etc. It needs a complete overhaul.

Visually, make the fins way bigger and more flowy. Add a subtle rainbow of colors to the fins, like the auroras Dewgong is associated with. Increase the size of the horn and make it multicolored too to stand out from the pure white body. Make Dewgong feel more grandiose in general.

Statistically, Dewgong has always been completely outclassed by Lapras and Walrein. Both of those rely on high HP and bulk at the cost of being slightly slower, so I feel to stand out Dewgong should be faster and more offensive. Shave off 30 points from defense (Dewgong is pretty frail-looking). Toss 30 on speed, 25 on special attack.

So we go from:

90/70/80/70/95/70 (Total of 475)

to

90/70/50/95/95/100 (Total of 500)

Replace Ice Body with Slush Rush. It makes sense for a pinniped to speed along the ice, and it gives Dewgong a new niche as a hail sweeper. To go with the whole Hail theme, add Aurora Veil to Dewgong's move pool.

There, Dewgong now has an actual point to its existence. It's not even close to overpowered or "meta", but it's now much more exciting.

Bellsprout should have a dusk stone evolution that is high attack, and is poison/dark, but with access to all grass moves, with leaf blade, crunch, and brutal swing and level up moves,

Redistribute Ursaring's base stats.

HP 90
ATK 130
DEF 75
SPATK 75
SPDEF 75
SPD 55

would become

HP 100
ATK 130
DEF 100
SPATK 40
SPDEF 100
SPD 30.

BST would still be 500. And then replace one of its Abilities, whichever one you like, with Tough Claws. Now he's an absolute unit.

Oohhh, he'd definitely be a permanent staple of my team for every game, ever, if I could change him like that. In the rare case that I couldn't bring him to the next game through some kind of service like Pokemon Bank or Pokemon Home, you can bet that my first order of business would be finding out how quickly I can catch a new one in the next game.

[PokeCommunity.com] "Fix" a "forgotten" Pokemon

What if that new evolution you want looked like this?

Nice work! , yeah it definitely should look like that, but I think most future Pokemon will not draw from the spaceworld sprites, now that they were leaked, and everyone knows what they looked like.

Not really forgotten.. I think I would just make a bunch of Gen I Pokémon different.

Like Seel not being just a seel. Same with Dewgong. Grimer and Muk go into this category too.
