I felt bad when Ash's Turtwig evolved because this form made him have to change battle strategy, and unfortunately once he was a Grotle he started losing more often.

My fave of the three Sinnoh starters. I thank the development of Ash's Chimchar for that, and the notable lack of Fire-types in Sinnoh.

To me, it's the real MVP of Fire/Fighting starters. It's like Blaziken in that it doesn't have much competition but it's still awesome.
