Rafa won the US Open, meaning the Federer and Nadal both won two majors apiece. Dream draw for Rafa though, the highest ranked player he faced was del Potro, the 24th seed. Still great to see that he's back at his peak!

While Nadal isn't my favorite of the Big Four players, I admit he did some cool plays against Anderson in today's final and he deserved that title. His interview during the trophy ceremony was cute too, lol.

Well, that's the end of tennis talk until January.

I don't think so. LBJ is a beast all on his own, and, if IT3 recovers from that hip injury, the Celtics need to guard a lot of people to get past the Cavs.

They will put up a good fight though and I will forever be a fan of them.

I think at the very least, the matchup will be much more compelling. The fact that they are opening up against each other in the regular season with such juicy headlines (Kyrie vs Lebron, IT vs Boston, Crowder vs Hayward) will make it a compelling series. It'll be interesting to see how Boston meshes with this new lineup cause they have, what...four people carrying over from the '16 roster? Crazy to think about.

Are there even any other teams that can compete in the East besides Cleveland and Boston? Didn't the Wizards take a step backwards?

5 wins seems about where you'll end up this season. And you'll have something if management, fans, and ownership are all patient because the rebuild will take a while.

Sounds about right. I'm having them at 6 wins based on their schedule (Colts, Jets, Texans, Jaguars, Bears, Chargers.) Some of those are iffy, but if DeShone can continue what he did on Sunday I think they have a good future ahead of them.

as far as I can remember, only smart have been player in the team since since 2014, I think.

I don't think anyone on the eastern side could really compete. unless a miracle happen with the bucks and the raptors.

Meanwhile my Indians have won 19 straight. Just enjoying the ride right now. I know as well as anyone else that anything could happen in the playoffs. Could get bounced first round.

22 straight. I love this team.

I'm just happy that the Indians took over the #1 spot. I'd (as in my Red Sox) would rather face the Astros than Cleveland at this point in the first round.

Second place in this division is nothing to be ashamed of, considering the last two teams to represent the American League in the World Series are in this division.

My Tigers are having their worst season since 2003, ticket prices are cheaper than most of the food at Comerica Park, they might reach triple digit losses, Ausmus needs to be exiled to Antartica, our pitching stinks worse than a roadkill skunk, our batters can't run the bases and can't hit, and we got rid of Verlander and JD Martinez ;-;

Might pick up a WNBA team next season. Most likely the Lynx, to pair up with my Loons love.

That would be nice but it doesn't look like it would happen unfortunately
Hopefully the Lions destroy the Falcons
Hopefully the rulebook doesn't destroy the Lions! Oh wait...
Feels bad man. I'd say the Lions won a moral victory at the very least.

So Bill Gates posted on r/Tennis, making it the best sports-related sub out there.
