  • Sorry, but I don't have a cool story or an anime character to lay my claim to fame with my name to. :P

Senusret are the name of three twelfth dynasty (middle kingdom) Pharaoh, all three sons of a previous Amenemhet with the son of Senusret III being Amenemhet IV aka Akenhaten who is far more historically notable than any of the Senusret or Amenemhet lol

I found out about the name when I was a kid playing a game by Sierra Studios/Impressions Games called Pharaoh, a companion game to Caesar III. Specifically, I was looking for Egyptian names for a newborn cat of mine and thought Senusret sounded cool lol - some of the other kittens got names like Snofru and Inyotef. :3

As for the username I just took it from that story, and people liked it so I kept it.

  • The three parts of my user name come from a few video game characters. The first part comes from the Judge Magisters in Final Fantasy XII. The second part comes closely from the name of one of the companions of the Jedi Exile in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II The Sith Lords. While the third part comes from the player character of the Mass Effect series.

  • When I joined the Bulbagarden forums, I had trouble thinking of a name. Then I thought, oh none of the people from the other forum I'm on will be here. Went to the RP section of that forum, picked a name from someone else's character I liked, which happened to be Abbadon, made it my UN there.

Then people started calling me Abba for short, I changed my UN to match, and now it's my go-to name for internet forums. Plus the band isn't terrible and I got a lot of name-based ABBA puns thrown at me.

Sentret is the name of the normal type critter in pokemon gold, all three sons of a previous furret with the son of Sentret III being Chaz's Sentret aka the Sentret that thought Pikachu Iron Tail who is far more historically notable than any of the Rattata or Zigzagoon lol

I found out about the name when I was a kid playing a game by gamefreak called Pokémon Crystal, a companion game to Pokémon Gold. Specifically, I was looking for Normal-type names for a newborn raccoon of mine and thought Sentret sounded cool lol - some of the other raccoons got names like Zigzagoon and Lilligant. :3

I must say it really fits you, Alex!

As always... Comune of Italy and site of a series of battles during WWII. Also music. The word itself means 'old forum' as I recall. I looked it up for one of these threads once, but I won't bother this time.

Fun fact: only two people on this board have ever mis-spelled the word 'casino' as my name.

  • I've said it before and I'll say it again: it's a play on words.

Back in 2011, I think, I was a huge Lady Gaga fan. Yeah... I was playing this online game at the time, so I changed my nickname to xxpokerfacexx or some shit. I thought it was fitting, 'cause I also liked playing poker. Boy, was I clever. Anyway, there was this girl I met on there and we became bestiezzz. She started calling me Pokiemon (I've always been a Pokemon fan), and then Poki for short. So yeah. Kinda sad 'cause it reminds me of my idiotic years (2009-2012), but it just stuck with me, y'know?

I also get called Betty a lot, which is far different from my actual name, and it's something I made up. See, I hated my name, and I still do, so when someone on the net asked me for my name, I'd say Beatris; Betty, for short.

    Okay, I'm done.

That's such a cute name and story, which is a bit weird coming from you, haha.

  • My username is Sheep because I thought it sounded cute. To be completely honest there was someone else on another website (not a forum) with this name and I thought it looked great so I nabbed it a few years ago.. and it's stuck since. Real words are my preference and this happened to be one of the nicer ones that came up at the time.

once a sheep, always a sheep. no fun story here, unfortunately D'8

  • my username is the first three letters of my last name + Crash Bandicoot, which was pretty much my obsession when I was like 6, which is when I first adopted this name. it's kinda catchy and I can't think of anything else so it's persisted throughout the 10 or so years I've had it.

  • The meaning behind my name is quite stupid, but I think I really want to stick with it. I came up with "Revise Librarian" by putting together two Yu-Gi-Oh cards from decks that I owned in real life, which are based on two of my favorite duelists, Yusei and Shark. That's part of the reason why my previous username was "You Say ~Shark~", but that name actually had infinitely more meaning than my current username. Unfortunately, I'm too lazy to explain the true meaning behind that name since it's a thing of the past now, haha.

    Anyways, as for "Revise Librarian":

"Revise" is derived from "Revise Dragon," an early translation of the name "Leviathan Dragon," a card in my Shark-themed deck.
"Librarian" was pulled directly from "T.G. Hyper Librarian," one of the most important cards in my Yusei-themed deck.

And, um... Librarians have the ability to "revise" certain things, so... okay, I'll shut up now haha.

  • I don't really have a story behind Alli, honestly. I've just liked the name Allison, with Alli for short, for a few years. If I were to change my real name, I'd change it to Alli. It's only two letters off from it though, so overall, it wouldn't be a huge change. But I'm named after my grandfather and dad, so I don't think I could bring myself to change it.
