Pls suggest your favourite hobbies haha. Now that I have no uni and only work I need a new hobby to keep my life exciting.

atm I gym & read and want something else stimulating/active, not something passive (eg watch more shows). Preferably something that doesn't cost too much to get into but! open to an investment if it's not too much

It's not a hobby of mine anymore, but I'd suggest taking up an instrument. Some of them are not too expensive, for example, a keyboard piano is less than 200 CAD. One of my bigger regrets is not continuing with the piano. Of course, you'd have to pick with instrument you prefer and feel comfortable with, but yeah!

I would say a sport is a very good choice! Football (soccer) and basketball are very famous here and it's a great way to meet new people, and do something good for your health! I was in a football team before and it was awesome!

Edit: I forgot to add fishing. I enjoy doing this too when I can!

I like to code! You could try that, it's really cathartic! You could make ur own css and stuffs!

Take up social dance. It's a good way to meet new people you otherwise wouldn't and it's an active activity that's great fun and good for your health. Experimenting with cooking is a cool way to be creative and keeps you up on your feet somewhat.

I'd tell you to start writing/visit the RPT too but those aren't really active options xD

I second cooking and baking! I used to find it really boring myself and had no interest in it, but I don't know what changed in me and I just really got into it all of a sudden. I've been finding it really rewarding, plus homemade cookies make pretty sweet gifts. :D no pun intended

    It's awesome

+1 for sports and cooking. Both are awesome. :)

Also, if you're into working out, you might wanna try power lifting for a few months. Power lifting/strength training done right will do wonders for your body and it opens up a whole new set of gym goals.

And if you own a car, you could try doing some maintenance work by yourself. I started doing that when I got my first car 8 years ago and it rapidly became a passion. Though it quickly grew up to be a huge money pit lol...

I'm not one for baking, but I really can say that cooking is a lot of fun! Also sports and working out is cheap and good for you so there's that.

Volunteering can also really be rewarding!

Most of my hobbies are passive, so they're probably not for you (traveling to anime cons is one of my more "active" ones).

Picking up team sports at your local rec center/community center/gym might be worth your time, though. Be it racquetball, handball, tennis, volleyball, basketball, hockey, any iteration of football (Aussie, American, rugby, association, Canadian, etc), etc.
