It's so HOTTTTT!

I didn't I work in a warehouse.

Also it's now August and I haven't gone swimming this summer what the hell is wrong with me.

the AC usually hits the spot but i've had band camp for two weeks so i'm in the heat practically all day. i just drink a ton of water and hope for the best tbh.

Those summers made me immune to heat, so here in Washington, there's no summer day I can't handle.
right, good training huh. but then ya'll rocking the jacket when it's 65

When I was younger I despised the heat so much I would just stay inside all summer, but now I'm like screw that I have things to do. It really doesn't bother me a lot, but I'm in a pretty mild area where if it's 90+ F then that's considered very hot. But anyway yeah, I just pull my hair up and throw on some shorts and I'm good.

Also I enjoy sweating, so that's probably another reason why it doesn't bother me so much lol.

Stay inside where it's air conditioned whenever possible. And keep reminding myself, "At least you aren't freezing your behind off." Really though, I'd rather be in the heat than in the cold. I guess spending the first 18 years of my life (and then some) in the harsh upstate New York winters made me much prefer the heat.

Summer in Desert California: Eh 115 degree heat, with a heat index of 92. I'm suffering, but the AC is my best friend. Those nights tend to be pretty friendly though.

Summer in San Diego: It's 80 degrees every day. FUCK YEAH BEACH WEATHER.

Summer in Texas: HOLY FREAKING SHIT. 89 degrees with a heat index of 102. It's freaking unbearable. How do you people put up with this heat? How do you guys deal with so much humidity?

Usually when it comes to beating the heat during the summer...I just...stay inside. I do like to cool myself off at the pool though. But living through my first summer here in Texas, I'm doing all I can to stay cool. Air conditioners are a necessity here...and it's almost nearly impossible to get outside because the humidity is just awful to deal with.

It's actually been a pretty mild summer here, comparatively. We had one week in June where it hit 102 with like 95% humidity, so that was miserable, but otherwise it's been pretty average or below normal. Humidity still sucks around here though, so even with slightly lower temperatures it's still miserable.

I mostly just stay inside in the AC and only go out when I need to though.

I'd always like to soak my face with a bit of water, or go for a swim if I can. Also, eating cold food helps as well since nothing cools you down like a nice popsicle.

I'm kinda surprised more people haven't mentioned popsicles or ice cream. I like to eat ice cream on hot days, haha.

Unfortunately, cool showers are only temporary, we've never had an AC, and walking around with nothing but perfume on is definitely not an option due to the fact that I live with, like, 5 other people who don't know what privacy is. :/

i told myself after the winter i experienced this past season i will not complain about the heat this summer and i haven't besides just saying things like "wow its hot out"
