PART 2
After beating the first gym, the gym leader set out to Wisp Forest and got lost, so I had to find him. On my trail there, Hellion evolved into Staravia (0.6 m) and I met this little guy I named Shroomy (Shroomish, 0.4 m).
A little after I found the gym leader I got HM01 Cut move I needed to keep going.
The different circumstances led me to Aerous City and to different battles in Aerous Museum, in which Crusader evolved into Prinplup (0.8 m).
I returned to Archan Tunnel, but this time through it's second entrance and was told I needed to go head to Apex Temple, but for that I needed to go through Nestpine Town, where the second gym is located.
After a rather easy rival battle and a hard gym leader battle because of the gym leaders Chatot, I finally got the second badge.

Team

Crusader/Prinplup [Male] lvl 23
Moves: Metal Claw, Growl, Bubble Beam, Rock Tomb

Hellion/Staravia [Female] lvl 23
Moves: Endeavor, Double Team, Quick Attack, Wing Attack

Shroomy/Shroomish [Male] lvl 19
Moves: Mega Drain, Headbutt, Stun Spore, Leech Seed

I'd be moving to Room #19 now

So, with the clause, Eileen had to go (BANZAI, BOO YEAH... No seriously, if i had to keep an adamant Raichu it'll be a hindrance) and we replaced it with Tyrunt. I usually tell you alot in my walkthrough but, this is not how i expected battling Korrina to be. Basically i do acrobatics in all of her pokemon except Breloom who was chipped by Roselia then getting beaten by Gardevoir. So yeah, another one bites the dust. And rather easily though. And hot damn Farfetch'd is one hell of a glass cannon. Bubba and Mary both has evolved.

2 Gym beaten! My rules were to use a team (preferably full) that had no overlaps in types so this was my current team:

Froggy/Frogadier Lv 27, Male
Pound, Lick, Water Pulse, Quick Attack

Bachi/Beedrill Lv 22, Male
Poison Sting, Rage, Twineddle, Pursuit

Shiro, Furfroy Lv 22 Female
Tackle, Headbutt, Bite, Baby Doll Eyes

Nanako, Skiddo Lv 22 Female
Take Down, Razor Leaf, Synthesis, Leech Seed

Ryu, Tyrunt Lv 22 Male
Bide, Stealth Rock, Bite, Charm

El Santos, Hawlucha Lv 22 Female
Wing Attack, Roost, Aerial Ace, Encore

The rule required all Pokemon to fight the Gym Leader, or at least try to attack.
I started the fight with Skiddo against Amaura and tried to plant a Leech Seed, only for it to fail and Amaura to one shot her with Aurora Beam. Oh well.

Beedrill was next and I fully expected him to get one shot by some rock move, but Amaura apparently forgot it is a rock type because it first paralyzed him with Thunder Wave and then started using Take Down. Beedrill actually did better than Skiddo by wittling down Amaura's health with Pursuit before getting defeated.

Third was Hawlucha that had no effective moves against him so I just went with a couple Aerial Aces until she was defeated.

Furfrou finally finished Amaura off before facing off against Tyrunt. The fur protected against a couple Bites but a Rock Throw sent her ko.

Second to last I sent out Tyrunt who's only job was to use Charm to send the enemy's Tyrunt's Attack crashing down, before switching to Frogadier that finished him with a couple Water Pulse

Room #9 is next

PART 3

Before going through Frostbite Cave, I returned to Aureous City, this time to the Art Gallery and after beating a series of Smeargles I was gifted with an Eevee egg, who I called "Fine lad".
Later, in Frostbite Cave I found a Thunderstone and used it on my Eevee to evolve it into the yellow guy of this challenge. Shroomy evolved in the cave as well.
I had to battle Elder Knight Eunice at the exit of the cave, after losing once I made it to Windmist City, the snowy city were the third gym is located.
Before challenging the gym, I had to go to Apex Temple, where I stumbled upon the New Elders again, after beating them, I was told the gym leader opened her gym again. I beat her and I got the third gym badge.

Team

Crusader/Prinplup [Male] lvl 28
Moves: Metal Claw, Growl, Bubblebeam, Rock Tomb

Hellion/Staravia [Female] lvl 25
Moves: Roost, Double Team, Quick Attack, Wing Attack

Shroomy/Breloom [Male] lvl 25
Moves: Mega Drain, Mach Punch, Stun Spore, Leech Seed

Fine lad/Jolteon [Male] lvl 26
Moves: Thunder Fang, Quick Attack, Tail Whip, Double Kick

I'll be moving to Room #21 there's a shady looking poster there.

Two Pokemon being lost, including a Steelix, was not good. Oh well. I picked up my Pidgey and Ekans and beat the Rival before making it through Ilex Forest. I then spent way too long catching an Abra, who then got a helping of some TMs and the nickname of FINALLY. A haircut for STARTER was appreciated and earnt me the Return TM as well. Hurrah!

I then went north and after a few necessary Trainer battles got to east of National Park and caught a 5% encounter Pokemon, Stantler (VIXEN). It got Headbutt via TM from Ilex Forest, which sure helped it catch back up in levels. It caught up to the rest of the party by Whitney, and even delivered the final blow. (Being female helped.)

And I also made use of trading again and made FINALLY an Alakazam. Might as well get it in before it gets banned. :V

Part 1
Woke up and put clothes on, as most people do when starting their days. I then traveled to Aquacorde to retrieve my starter Pokémon. I chose a Fennekin named Zervul. Rather than heading home to deliever my mom a letter, as my new annoying friends demanded I do, I chose to check out the local Pokéball shop and bask in the glory of nothing but standard Pokéballs. Unfortunately, to my dismay, the shop keep provided me with a premier ball after purchasing 10 of his standard balls. I now feel lied to, as he had more than just standard Pokéballs, which is not what the sign said.

But moving on. I ventured north to route 2, where I encountered Ms.PidgPidg. I captured the Pidgey due to this weird urge that I felt to have a pokemon of brown coloration on my team. Unfortunately she knew Sand Attack so I had to get rid of it. I'm not sure why but I just can't stand anything related to ground types. Together my team and I stomped through Santalune Forest, making sure to crush every weedle and scatterbug we saw, while using Shauna's cheaty heal system for some easy leveling up of Ms.PidgPidg. We eventually made our way to Santalune City where I immediately went to purchase a fine feather for my dull hat. Unfortunately I could not replace my hat as I had little money, but at least I was able to obtain a feather. I then moved northeast to Route 22 where I caught Ryu and Zenna, a male Riolu and female Psyduck respectively. I spent the next hour or so training my team until they were all about level 10. Finally feeling that we were ready to tackle our first gym we made our way to the building, only to be stopped by a roller skater. I'm clearly quite prejudiced against roller skaters, so naturally I had to beat her up. After Zenna finished drowning the girl's Zigzagoon I couldn't help but notice how nice her skates actually were and decided to take them for myself. They are quite comfy.

My team and I entered the gym and Zenna and Ryu made quick work of the trainers. Knowing that I had to make use of my bird, I sent Ms.PidgPidg to destroy Viola's Surskit. And she did. MsPidgPidg ate the water strider as if the bug were an all you can eat pancake breakfast. In response, Viola sent out her Vivillon, I countered with Zervul. Zervul torched the purty flutterfly into a pile of ash and I quickly snatched the badge from Viola's hand as she looked on in horror. I don't think she'll be using those Pokémon again any time soon. So now I have used my prize money to updgrade my hat and shall sit on this bench until I figure out what further challenges await me on this journey.

Two Steps Ahead
Your team must be always prepared for next 2 Gyms (or the whole E4 if you're in the late game) at once. This includes Pokémon/moves/items and everything you can think of. (levels excluded from this)
The Adventures of Stormhelper Patrick in Crystal - Part 1 (Get-Together Challenge 2019)

Two Steps Ahead was an interesting first challenge. Not too hard, I thought. So I immediately began my journey, named myself Patrick as I always do, and planned out which Pokémon would fit this preparation mechanic. I got down, talked to Mom, went out, talked to Elm, and immediately I picked Cyndaquil for Bugsy. This little Fire-type will do well for my challenge. So he and I immediately became partners.

I did the whole trip to Mr. Pokémon, met Oak, got the call of someone stealing a Pokémon, and fought my rival. This one was tough, I needed to heal my level 6 Cyndaquil twice to beat this guy. Thankfully we pulled through, despite missing a couple of Tackles. So we got back to New Bark, told the police my rival's name was Silver. Talked to Mom, asked her to save my money, got out of New Bark, saw a Poliwag and thought hey this would be a good Surf, Waterfall, and Whirlpool user, so I caught it, too. I also befriended Youngster Joey and got his number because I've always been Joey's gay best friend to call whenever he feels on top.

Then began the long process of finding a Geodude, which was super crucial because I didn't want a disobeying Onix and I totally needed a Rock/Ground-type for Falkner, Bugsy, and even Whitney's Rollout-abusing Miltank. I managed to catch one (a Geodudette, to boot) when I recharged my 3DS, and then since it was nighttime a bunch of Hoothoot were flying by, too. So I thought hey, Falkner likes using Mud-Slap, right? And Flying would resist Bugsy's Fury Cutter. So I added a female Hoothoot to my team, while making sure to box my male Poliwag after it levelled up accidentally.

We breezed through Sprout Tower through sheer teamwork, with Hoothoot and Cyndaquil taking care of the Bellsprout, and Geodude tanking the Hoothoot. Saw my rival again as he escaped the tower, and then I got HM Flash. We went down, took a trip to the Trainer School by following the spinny teacher, and also checked out the Sudowoodo blocking the way to Goldenrod.

Finally it was Falkner time. Hoothoot and Geodude were enough to beat the two gym trainers, so we quickly got to face Falkner. His Pidgey got its pecks handed to by Hoothoot, while Hoothoot managed to get off a Growl on his level 9 Pidgeotto before having to switch to Geodude to tank a second Gust. Then the Mud-Slap spam happened. Geodude only loses 3 HP every time so I had multiple shots of getting his newly learned Rock Throw to connect, but alas, it wasn't meant to be. I switched to Cyndaquil after healing Geodude with a Potion, then even with some mud on his face, Cyndaquil connects with Ember and-- burns! Pidgeotto is now on a timer. I switch back to Geodude because the Gusts were getting too strong, and he proceeded to Mud-Slap one final time before resorting to Tackles (no more PP, I presume). Geodude still kept missing, so Pidgeotto simply succumbed to its burn wounds. I got the Zephyr Badge, walked down to the gym helper guy near the statues, took a selfie beside the statue with my name newly inked on it, and saved the game.

Spoiler: Progress
