I can give you a half answer. I can say why I don't like boxers as an undergarment. Nothing to do with where the junk is. The rest of it, being lose and not form fitting, say on your thigh for instance, just bunches up under your pants against your leg and isn't comfortable.

Not commando then because it just doesn't seem sanitary.
 
I wear all boxer, particularly knitted boxers. I feel they're a bit more comfortable to me and boxer briefs don't give me enough air room for the junk and I just hate the feeling of how tight they are. That's why I switched from briefs to boxers in the first place. Though I hear boxer briefs don't ride up and bunch up as much and it's easier to slip jeans over. I wear a lot of tighter, slimmer jeans, so I know the feeling of having to flattening your boxers when putting jeans on. So I may be getting more boxer briefs soon, though I felt buying them last time I tried and I don't know why.....

Oh, I spend like 2 minutes making sure that every single drop of liquid is dried properly after peeing. It's so disgusting.

Same. It sucks because when I leave the bathroom, everyone is wondering why I take so long if I'm just peeing lmao.

Boxer for me, i treat them like a pant sometime if i don't wash my other previous pants...
 
from what I've seen, the common progression is:

briefs until you're like 7-10 years old
then boxers for a few years (some people stick with them forever)
then boxer briefs after that because some people just need more support.

I have followed this progression and I know a bunch of people that have too so SCIENCE.
 
To be honest, I don't use any of the 2, I just wear shorts.

I have used both before, for me, I didn't find them comfortable at all.
 
I wear all kinds. I usually wear boxer briefs. Sometimes I wear boxers, and sometimes I wear briefs. I don't wear tighty whities since I think they look dorky.
 
Boxer briefs are comfortable and show off my ass. Briefs are just weird to look at and also a hassle for the boys, and boxers are male disease overkill. We get it, you have a dick. Cool.

At home, at any time I'm basically like "why clothes?" I'm rather confident in my naked self.
 
I wear a thong cause they make me feel sexy ;D ....



Ok i lied, i wear boxers, i don't even remember the last time i wore something that wasn't, I don't like the feeling of any sort of 'junk restricting' underwear so loose boxers are perfect
