Yes, but deoxys event had a triangle. Also I think Triangle symbolizes Deoxys somehow. As
he triangles are likely Deoxys

But Deoxys and shooting stars have little connection...
Also Deoxys is said to have been mutated by rays, which are implied to be man made rays (like Radio). So how could it be made all the way back during the time of Groudon and Kyogre? Unless the time Primal Groudon and Kyogre was 3000 years (anyone else notice that time was the same time Unova as a region was made and ruled by a King?) ago and Deoxys was hit by the weapon in Kalos...

I thought Deoxys came from space?...
At least this is what I always thought. Which explained why he changed forms via meteorite

Am I the only one who thinks that the plane trails are actually Lati@s.

The ones on the Slateport-Mt. Chimney picture probably are as there are two of them, and if you look closely they almost look like they have a Lati shape to them.

@ Flamebot It was a virus that mutated into Deoxys after being hit by radiation. It isn't the first either as the Grimer line is the same way except it's made from pollution on earth instead of coming from a space virus.

I like this idea a lot, I guess it would make a lot more sense than two real rockets :)

Yeah, Deoxys was a "virus" that came from space that got hit with a laser or something.

So according to serebii, mega sableye gets defence amd sp atk up and lowered speed and it loses prankster in favor of magic bounce.i personally think prankster is a better ability bit who knows untilthe games come out?

That's actually pretty unique, in some way. You keep using Prankster Sableye up until certain point, and whenever you're expecting to be struck by some non-damaging move, you could instantly mega-evolve and have it thrown back.

OH MY GOSH. CONNECTIONS. CONNECTIONS EVERYWHERE *dies*

I kinda wish Sableye got Wonder Guard so that it will be so OP against non-Fairy moves. But I guess it is kinda unbalanced haha xD
Wow yeah, you'd have a completely unstoppable force, lol. With Shedninja, it has Wonder Guard, but only 1HP so it falls as soon as you use a damaging status infliction on it, or any entry hazards, and so on. Sableye has got a lot more HP so it could take a whole team out before a fairy move got it.

Magic Bounce on Sableye is pretty cool. It makes for fun when predicting moves in competitive battling, and I imagine Sableye is going to be a well needed defensive mega.

Assuming if M.Sableye got a 100 stat boost like other megas, and considering its decreased speed (to about 30? which is awfully slow), it wouldn't be that much useful either.

As far as we know, that gem increases defense... I think one moonblast is still enough to knock it out. The only menacing fairy move that I can think of being physical is play rough.

Unless Mega Sableye gets a huge boost to special attack and defense, I can't see it being used that much.....Pranksters or WonderGaurd would have been much better. I'm actually alittle disappointed

I had a guess Mega Sableye's huge jewel would raise its defense but at the cost of making it slower. Magic Bounce is still a neat ability, it's no Prankster but still great for ruining a few strategies here and there. Boosted Sp. Attack is really nice too, so yeah not bad I guess!

Interesting that they raised its Special Attack, because originally Sableye had a better Attack stat by ten points, and his entire move pool was made up of physical attacks, spare Shadow Ball and Power Gem, and Night Shade. Speed drop and Defense boost were predictable, though. Magic Bounce can be fun to play around with, for sure. Prankster is better overall imho, but still not too shabby!

It'll be a great Pokémon to run under the effects of Trick Room is it's as slow as we think it'll be.

I do wonder why they decided on it's special attack instead of it's attack... it would strengthen it's Sucker Punches (which would be even more helpful considering it's speed drop) and it's many other physical moves.

I imagine his special attack was raised in turn of his attack because the giant gem keeps him a bit... Immobilized. XD

So it'd be a lot easier for him to just toss attacks from back there rather than getting up close and personal. But on paper it looks like that's going to hinder him far more than help him. Of course it makes sense, but like... What's he gonna do with that attack move pool now?
