Question of the Day

Which region has your favorite set of starters?

Gotta say Hoenn, I really like all three of them.

Have you ever blacked out in a wild Pokemon encounter?

Whited out* If I have, it was when I was really young in the old games because I don't remember a time where I have :P

I too have to go with Kalos. I really do love all three of them, there's normally at least one that I don't like at all. Though I didn't like Froakie that much at first, that quickly changed when I learned how awesome-sauce amazing its evolved for is :D And in addition to that, Fennekin is adorable and Chesnaught has an awesome signature move and ability.

I had, I was trying to raise a bunch of low level Pokémon and sadly the wild Pokémon have proven to be too much. ):

Oh, I'm rather surprised that you didn't pick the Kanto starters trio! o:

You know, I like always expect Kanto to be everyone's fave starters likely because I feel like everyone loved that generation. But, I don't believe in so-called "nostalgia goggles" because I find them an excuse to avoid the improvements future generations have made.

I think I've done this a few times, myself, mostly in legendary battles. Although I wouldn't be surprised if it's happened to me in non-legendary encounters too, since I sometimes don't go to the Pokemon Center when I need to.

Question of the Day

Do you play ROMs or consoles more often?

Do you play ROMs or consoles more often?

I used to run emulators back in the day, but it's pretty much all 3DS now. Once RBY comes out for Virtual Console, I might tap into that. I replayed Blue version a few months ago on an emulator, but I haven't touched Yellow in years.

Do you play ROMs or consoles more often?
Previously, I run on roms more on my laptop because I don't have the money to buy the game and cheating is easier and affordable thru roms and I do play roms on consoles too since I have console, but unable to afford for my desire game.

Do you play ROMs or consoles more often?

I only play official copies of games, but if I can't do that because either the console is too expensive to buy just for that one game or if the game itself is too expensive, even second hand (think FE: PoR), I'll resort to ROMs.

Do you play ROMs or consoles more often?
I usually just play the actual games on my 3DS now. But I used to use roms for romhacks and also things like one-Pokemon challenges, especially since the speed-up helps you grind for levels so much quicker. Overall I'd still play the actual game more, though.

I play on consoles most often these days. It's been quite a long time since I've played a ROM.

Question of the Day

What kind of Pokeball do you use most often for catching Pokemon?

What kind of Pokeball do you use most often for catching Pokemon?

I use the standard Pok? Ball for everything - even legendaries. I once caught the Rayquaza in ORAS with my second Pok? Ball and it was nuts! I like uniformity, but I have been kinda considering going with the trend of matching Pok? Balls to different Pok?mon. An Umbreon would like amazing in a Luxury Ball, for example.

What kind of Pokeball do you use most often for catching Pokemon?

Ultra, at night/in caves the Dusk Ball. I prefer my higher chances, thank you. I can see the value in trying to match a ball to your Pokemon though, but without the likes of Ball Seals to really help decorate them...

What kind of Pokeball do you use most often for catching Pokemon?
Start of the game, usually standards while mid progressions and further progress. A handful of Ultra Balls would do lovely and when it's night (evening) or in the case, Dusk Balls do the job twice as better.

What kind of Pokeball do you use most often for catching Pokemon?

Mmm, probably the ultra ball. But if I've recently started to do my catches during the evening and night with dusk balls. It's just easier to catch pok?mon that way, and I just like its design more than the boring ultra ball. I've never had the tendency of matching pokeballs to pok?mon, not counting water types and the dive ball is.

What kind of Pokeball do you use most often for catching Pokemon?

I use either regular Pok?balls or Dusk Balls most of the time. Sometimes I'll use a Net Ball if I have one, but I don't go out of my way to get them :P
