Question of the Day

Do you normally train your Pokemon to level 100?

Nope. There isn't really any need to - nothing in the game can't be beaten with Pokemon around Level 75 at the absolute most, and I don't play competitively. Some of my Pokemon might get to Level 100 as I use them for battling the Elite Four repeatedly to raise weaker Pokemon, but I never go out of my way to get them there.

Do you normally train your Pokemon to level 100?

In the past, not really. I'd usually get them to around 70-80 or so after running them through the E4 and then mess around in Battle Towers and the related post-game facilities before I breed and train another team.

But since it's so easy in ORAS with QR Secret Bases and their triple Blisseys, it takes a matter of minutes to get any Pokemon from level 1 to 100. You spend more time waiting for the Pokemon to finish leveling than actual walking, talking and combat.

I used to train my Pokemon to level 100 in the older games. More recently, though, I haven't felt much motivation to do so, and there have been enough other things to keep me busy that I haven't bothered. I think a bunch of my team members from my X playthrough may have reached level 100 actually (or I may have stalled at 99; things seem so permanent and "finished" once I reach 100 that I tend to stall), but it hasn't been a focus like it used to be back in the older games.

What do you usually use your Master Ball on?
Mostly on Roaming Legendaries, mascots doesn't count because programming let you catch it easily and other balls do twice the job.

Do you normally train your Pokemon to level 100?
I always leave EXP Share on and sometimes forget to take lucky egg and which why I got level 100 Sylpheon and Ageislash on OR and Y

Do you normally train your Pokémon to Level 100?

Well I don't do it directly per se, but I do have a handful of bred Pokémon that I have at Level 100 in my main White 2 and X. In the former, I got quite a few up there using Join Avenue services.

Do you normally train your Pokémon to Level 100?
Yep, but not all; only those that I plan to keep on my team, or at least for a while.

Do you normally train your Pokemon to level 100?

No, I don't. It's pretty pointless and takes a lot of effort, certainly in the older games where the highest trainer Pokémon levels are a lot lower than in the newer ones.

I used to do it a lot back when I was a kid and was playing 1st and 2nd gen. I stopped bothering some time after that, because it takes time, and the level curve makes it tedious (especially in 4th gen good god). But thanks to the Exp Share, which I've been using to level up my Pokemon, I've gotten a few of my mains up to level 100 from constantly re-challenging the Elite Four xD

Here's an interesting one that I'm actually curious about :o

Do you ever change the wallpaper in your PC boxes?

I do it in two occasions: When arranging my box from the very beginning and after defeating the Pokemon League for new wallpapers. :)

Do you ever change the wallpaper in your PC boxes?

Yes I do customize the wallpaper, because that way it's easier to tell the boxes apart. I also love most of the wallpaper choices as well so it's a win-win.

DANGIT I missed one :(

Do you normally train your Pokémon to Level 100?

I intend to but I never do :P I want to train a select few up soon if possible.

Do you ever change the wallpaper in your PC boxes?

I usually match them to my boxes that are sorted by type.

Do you normally train your Pokémon to Level 100?

Never, maybe one day when I got my 3DS and the games.

Do you ever change the wallpaper in your PC boxes?

Only once, and that is during a Nuzlocke when I changed the wallpaper to gray-like to resemble dead Pokemon.

Do you ever change the wallpaper in your PC boxes?

Yup! When I start dex-filling I tend to play about with the wallpaper so it complements the sprites. I like my collection to be aesthetically pleasing, and have different backgrounds, since the default tends to re-use certain ones over and over...

I sometimes change the wallpaper so there are no repeats. After that, I tend to leave it alone and not touch it again. As for using wallpaper for sorting, I tried categorizing Pokemon by type in the boxes (e.g., water types on ocean or pond paper), but for whatever reason, I had a hard time finding things to train that way, so I stopped doing that. Now, I generally split Pokemon into boxes by level ranges (e.g., 1-10, 11-20, 21-30), by future breeding goals (egg moves, etc.), by Pokedex number (I do that mainly for the things I breed), or wherever they will fit, regardless of wallpaper type.

Do you ever change the wallpaper in your PC boxes?
In fact, I change several boxes once

Do you ever change the wallpaper in your PC boxes?
I've done it a couple of times before, but nowadays, not at all; I don't tend to put too much attention on wallpapers.
