Resolution for 2014

Ah, I'm going to actually get around to working out again. And by that I mean swimming. My brother's agreed to help me by dragging me out of bed to go to the YMCA with him and making me go swim until he gets bored of playing basketball. So I don't even have to motivate myself really. I also want to try to get back to eating regular meals. For like the last year I've just been eating a maximum of two meals a day. That's not really healthy tbh. I know I feel generally better when I do both those things but motivation is always the hard part. These things weren't really New Year's resolutions per se but just things I was thinking about and was like "huh yeah I should do that". And those decisions happen to fall around New Year's so I guess I have something to tell people when they inevitably ask.

Probably be more religious in gaining muscle, and improving my strength in poledancing. I already lost weight by eating porridge for the past 3 months but recently I started eating white rice again and I feel like I'm gaining weight. Sleep early, as it is 7:52am right now and I still haven't slept. Eat healthier and drink more water and all that:( Hopefully this new year I get to fulfill them, there are NO EXCUSES FOR EXERCISING. You go guys!

To be more independent, definitely.
Not to waste my time with people that, in the end are just going to cause me pain.
Start being more active. I used to go swimming every Saturday then I randomly stopped. I'll start going again.

:)

1. I want to get out more; enjoy life a bit more than I currently am. Take on new opportunities as they come and learn from new experiences.

2. I want to finish school with a bang; get a really high score that will grant me access to the uni course I really want to get into.

3. Enjoy every day and take each day as it comes.

My resolution would be to focus more on completing an Advanced Diploma in Computer Systems Technology. I'd really like to learn alot about putting together electronic devices and stuff like that. So then one day I would have the knowledge of reverse engineering the hardware of a Nintendo 3DS. 'Cause that's what I want to achieve is making the Nintendo 3DS completely accessible and to be modified in any way and allow HomeBrew software on it as well as running ROMs from an SD card or something.

Continue to be more healthy.
try to be more assertive; though this is a difficult one because it comes from attitude and confidence. I have some steps I want to try and make to do this.
Try and have less anxiety- going to speak about this to my doctor in the new year but have already been trying to react better to stressful thigs for the past couple of months. Have to continue doing it.

1. I'd most likely not commit to this one, but I want to be more responsible and independent. During past years, I've always depended on other people to do stuff for me (so I guess overcoming laziness is another resolution). I often find myself laying on my bed a lot, and doing projects and tasks at the last minute -- and that's something I want to change.

2. Shyness and quietness are two other things I want to change about myself. Speaking up was always a challenge for me, since all I could think of is what others would think of me once I open my mouth. I don't want to care what other people think. I want to confidently speak up about, err, stuff.

3. Like most, I want to enjoy every day and be optimistic. :)

I'm not going to be too strict with myself, as my resolutions are more attitude changes than 'DONT DO THIS'.

1. Be more open and friendly around PokéCommunity.
2. Learn to de-stress, avoid conflict and make the most out of life without sweating the small stuff.

For next year I'd really like to knuckle down and actually study towards getting on my desired course at University. I'm currently studying one subject to contribute towards it, but I really need to work hard if I want to achieve the grades I need to get accepted.

Oh, and I'd also like to be more involved with activities and become much more active around PokéCommunity, the last couple of months I've kinda slid under the radar which I wouldn't like to repeat.

to be more independent and be fine with being alone would be a nice resolution. i feel like that is the main cause of my stress. i just want to be happy this year

My goal for 2014 is to accomplish the goals of 2013, which I should've done in 2012 because I promised them in 2011 and planned in 2010.

For this year... I will rise my determination, I'll draw more than last year and continue exercising.

Basically, it's the same path I've been following...

The only thing I really care about is losing 40lbs by the new school year in September. It'd be nice to go into my junior year of college at the weight I was in high school.

I know it's a little late but I just shaved for the first time in almost 2 months. No more neck beards and locking myself in the house all day. 2014 is the year I become a social butterfly!

I've been trying to think of one. I mean the 'stay healthy' thing is obvious, but I want one with a lot of meaning.

I mean, New Years resolutions are a good idea, and well meaning and all that, but it should be a life resolution, not just for a year. So I guess just my life resoltions; Never pass up a chance to help someone, remember where you came from, and who you were and who you are and want to be, live life, and just try to be happy.

Well, this wasn't a resolution, but I do intend to drag myself out of a certain (destructive) bad habit this year. Doing so is not going to be very fun and has already proven to be a challenge. I have enough experience from failed attempts to know that it'll get easier, though.

Other than that, I'm hoping to find a better way to deal with stress. I don't have much confidence that it'll happen, honestly haha.

And, of course, working on improving my drawings / writing.

The biggest resolution I have for 2014 is getting rid of the last bit of self-doubt I have by losing weight.

I also want to get 4.0 on the next two semesters, though it's only more of a hope as I'll probably get at least one B in some course.
