6th Gen [Super]-Secret Bases!

I counted and some of the secret bases have more than 16 items.

I just did that myself and this one, along with some others, has way more than 16 items:

I guess I answered my own question then XD I wonder if there is a maximum, or if we can just put in a lot. I'd assume it'd be the former since we wouldn't want to completely block people from moving around, but you never know.

Holy. The secret bases are beautiful tho. The colors are just so nice. This could be why I was so excited when I seen the pictures. Lol
Now I can't wait to see the Mudkip doll again.

This image has a bunch of Pokedolls (Mudkip included) <3

Also, just realized you can rotate objects diagonally, like in this pic:

(Look at the Charizard doll for reference.)

That's another plus to having the games in 3D; the positioning isn't limited to four directions. (Given, I would assume it's limited to eight, but that's still better.) I guess that also means you'll be able to rotate items in general, as I don't believe that was possible in RSE?

It's seems like we'd be getting the same items that RSE had but with more items. It seems like we'd be getting stairs too? Oh, I hope they would have super secret bases in the cities or towns. Be a Gym leader of Littleroot or Oldale ;) Maybe even Lilycove and Pacifidlog :33

I counted 25 items in the last two screenshots so maybe that's the new limit? That's not too bad considering the amount of space we're given.

In the Delta room I counted 48 useable tiles and that looks to be the biggest room without the planks. So you can fill up at least half a room, generally more. And who knows? Maybe it'll turn out we have even MORE items to use than that?

I'm particularly curious about those Abra mats. I get the feeling they teleport you but I'm not sure how. There's two yellow and blue ones in one screenshot, but not another red one. It'd make sense for them to teleport to each other. But that red one's throwin' me off. I guess it's possible the red one just wouldn't work?

Also I see what looks to be an arrow tile~

Goodness, those secret bases look so amazing. :F

I love the fact that the limit has increased, multiple terrains, rotatable items...
...and Pokedolls on the ground.

Here's to me sticking my base at the edge of Route 115 once again~

I can't wait to make my own 'gym' in these and let people challenge it.
I'm going to use six level 100 Mewtwos. Yeah, I'm gonna be that guy. :)

But in all seriousness I am so stoked about these. They're gorgeous, loving the Pokedolls (I want a hundred), and yay diagonal items! I'm looking forward to seeing how they plan on expanding the whole 'gym' idea. It's really amazing that they put that sort of feature in there. I've been waiting for something similar since Gen 1!

This feature is definitely exciting for me. I am really not that hyped with OR/AS with the announcement but this got me hard. I am just hoping to see more of the other features come back. But hey, this is one of my favorites then (and you get to do more stuff here). Here's to making pseudo-gyms >w<.

I, for one, welcome this new improvement over the Secret Bases. I was surprised to learn that the new Hoenn Secret Bases integrated D/P's Capture the Flag mini-game and even more surprised that we get to make our own gym out of the new Secret Base.

Serebii says something about making your own gym in your base. You can change the rules yourself (single-battle, multi-battle), and you can make your own path another trainer has to walk to get to you, the gymleader. I really think this is an awesome feature giving some new meaning to the secret bases:)

I'm going to be cooler and have six Ludicolo. :V

I never cared about bases back in Emerald tbh, but the fact that you can make your own battle rules and turn it into a gym is so cool! Finally, GF you made everyone's dream to become their own Gym Leader AND make a gym dream come true

Omg! I always wanted to be a Gym leader! It's gonna be cool if we get to create our own badges too lol I just can't wait for that game anymore!!!

How would the AI handle Secret Base Trainers with Megas? I guess the computer would have to pop them on the first turn if ever.

I'm really excited for these new Super-Secret Bases! Especially since you can set your own battle rules for your Secret Base. I hope we can also ban certain moves and abilities and stuff rather than just certain Pokemon.

Banning Pokemon would be interesting... A whole gym of Luvdisc, and the player has to use Luvdisc to challenge them

If you StreetPass a Secret Base, HOW do you know where their base is located? What if you QR 3 different basses that use the same location? There are only so many slots and millions of players.

Okay, so we know that we see the person you are visiting's, secret pal. So do you think we can pick which ones people see when they come to our? This would make it more gym like.
