The only jobs I had were through the college itself... one as an office worker, one as a resident assistant in on-campus housing (oh, the bizarre things you'll see as an RA) and an instructor for a freshman math class.

The pay sucked, but it kept me fed, at least.

Meh, I'm pretty lucky to even have a part-time job here. I work as a clerk on a cafe and it pays off just enough for my needs. Tuitions, though, to hell with them.

The first snow always sucks though. To powdery, can't do much with it.

I think my town is going to get snow sometime next week, but I missed most of the weather report so I'm not sure.

I'm kinda hoping for a a sudden and unexplained foot and a half of snow, like my place had 6 years ago. The forcast said 2 inches, 2 1/2 at most. It started snowing around 2 pm that day and continued on until 10 or 11 am the next day. I was up to my knees in snow. And it... was... AWESOME!

You know how much snow I really want though? Enough to do something like this.

I suppose that is one way to keep your drinks cool.

But pfft, I live in Australia. Firstly, it is summer here, and secondly it barely snows too in this country bar in the mountains (and compared to other countries they barely qualify as mountains) and Tasmania (a southern large island of Australia) apparently.

My mom said she checked the weather for my school today on accident and it said knee-deep snow and snowdrifts. At least I'll have a reason to use my boots when I come back over the weekend...

It snows in Canberra. Does that count as mountains?

It's finally snowing here, right now. But it's probably going to be hot and wet tomorrow again. 2012, the doomsday year...

Ah snow... This winter has had record heat so even in Canada, we haven't seen much snow. It snowed heavily a few mornings ago when I was heading to classes though, and it was freaking cool. Because despite the blizzard, it was still +3 degrees Celsius out.

I love snow, and days like that have a somewhat melancholic environment that for some strange reason, seems to be the best weather ever. Like rainstorms, almost chill-worthy. And those chills certainly don't come because of the cold. ;D

I like it when it's ~5AM and sharp and cold. Idk why but that kind of weather so early in the morning is just nice. (:

I walked outside this morning to head for class and it was raining...something is wrong. This winter is very warm. I kinda like it, though. I only like snow during the Christmas/New Year window. We didn't have any, which kinda sucked, but now I'm glad not to see any. Just waiting for it to slowly get warmer until my favourite season of the year. :D

There wasn't snow here neither, I'm really disappointed. Ok, I should be happy our winter so be pretty warm (for a winter I mean), but no, I want snow ! I want school to be closed because of it !

It kinda sucks actually, because I like the cold and winter. So much pure white all over the place, the environment, and the crisp air never feels stuffy. It lets you do things like Ski and Snowboard, it sometimes means random holidays. And I don't care how old you are, snowball fights are still awesome.

I like snow when it first falls, but at school it snowed nearly constantly last year and the snow turned into brown, slippery slush that was really ugly and a pain to walk in. :( Kind of put off by the snow now.

Same here. We didn't get snow here, we got a thunderstorm instead. ;; I wanted snow so bad...
