I finished The Cat Lady! Journal entry will be up either today or tomorrow probably. Suffice to say though, I liked it! It's rough around the edges and has its flaws, but it's a good game.
This is yet another reminder for me to finally give this game a try. I love collect-a-thon games, but always forget that this one exists.I've beaten A Hat in Time and collected every Time Piece. I haven't completed Death Wish yet, though, and don't expect to do so before the end of the month.
This game is, simply, wonderful. The platforming is really fun, and there's so many details put into everything. The story is good, the levels are all really cool, I love the characters, and I think it might have my favorite voice acting out of any game I've ever played! The only issue is that the combat is mediocre and the non-boss enemies are not that interesting to fight, but combat isn't really a focus of the game, so it doesn't matter that much. I don't have that much experience with collect-a-thon platformers, but I definitely want to play more of them after playing this one.
I am completely new to the Castlevania series, but plot-wise, this seems like a good spot to start. Its protagonist, Shanoa, lost her memories in the prologue, making her just as out of the loop as I am.
I can vouch for you and say Order of Ecclesia has a completely self-contained story, so you aren't really gonna be missing anything or expect to know anything from other Castlevania games.
I asked my bf for a game to play, and he offered that I play Hades, and according to him it does have an actual ending that I should be able to reach by the end of the month. I've never played it and know it's a roguelike though, so if for whatever reason it's not valid for the challenge, I suppose I'll be playing the original Final Fantasy VII instead.
Oh this is a cool one! I'm going to tempt fate and just leave this post here for whoever suggests a game for me first. My only ask is not something super mega long, I think condensing 100+ hours of play into a fortnight for last month's theme has ruined me a bit.
Curiously, the GCN (original) version, or the 3DS version?Hades is valid!
My partner has decided I'm playing Luigi's Mansion.
Curiously, the GCN (original) version, or the 3DS version?
If the former I'd suggest the PAL (rather than NTSC aka US) version if possible, due to improved content (moreso the 'Hidden Mansion' or hard mode). I think the 3DS game is based on the NTSC one sadly.
