As I fend off a cold I'm tempted to pretent it being corona. Maybe I just want to see the animalistic instinct driven reactions from my fellow humans. 2020, the year when humankind reverts back to being animals incapable to acting on reason. (context: virus, things happening in Greece)

Also: birthday does not mean that you're entitled to having a good day as. Something that I learned from yesterday.

Also: I'm somewhat growing weary of technology. Maybe it's the cold, maybe I'm just too old or maybe something else.

Also: screw humankind, but at the same time they're way too pityfull to enact my revenge on, currently...

The past couple weeks have been stressing me out lately, but so far there has been more light then there has been dark.

I was worried about my probationary period with my job position and we finally had the meeting to review my 7 months of working there. Long version cut down very short they want me to stay, signed the paperwork and also accepted a raise on top of that. My general manager wants me to do leadership courses so I can be a floor supervisor at the casino before we start doing the expansion. So that was intense...

Also I have been house hunting... Something in Canada that is more stressful then it should. The restrictions and regulations for a first time mortgage holder is ridiculous. They pose what if scenarios like (What if interest gets raised from 3.5% to 12%) and other crud like that... Now that the tests have been endured I have put in an offer on a house that is around the corner from my parents place in a growing part of town... I could hear back as early as today so... Wish me well? :x

idk if it's just me but February felt longer than it should, even if it's missing a day or two.

probably because i went through a lot that month and couldn't wait until it was all over. x.x

Felt long when I was in the middle of it, but looking back on it I'm all like "Where the hell did February go?" etc.

GUYS I GOT A HOUSE :>

The official move in isn't until July but finally! This one came up at the last minute and I am super stoked!

CONGRATULATIONS! That's so great! Moving is the worst, hopefully it's an easy transition. At least you have plenty of time to pack everything up lmao

i feel like i'm one of the few people that dst doesn't really affect all that much. my sleep schedule is messy as hell anyways and well... i dont really see much changing for me on a day-to-day basis. ._.

DST used to cause me issues when I was younger, since I used to get up fairly early in the weekend. I remember when I once got up at about 5AM after the clocks had gone back an hour, not realising until it was too late to get back to sleep.

it affects my family one way or another haha
on one hand moving clocks forward one hour gives us an extra hour of sunlight and it's still very bright when we get home from work, but on the other hand it's soo dark when we wake up in the morning

I just like being closer to my SO though, because atm I'm in a long distance relationship (6 or 7 hour difference depending on clock changes in the US, they don't honor it where he lives), so the recent change is how i'd prefer it to be

DST absolutely destroys me, because I have a fixed sleep schedule that gets thrown into complete disarray. I've actually booked the 30th and 31st of March off so I have time to recover when it happens at the end of the month =/
...yet another reason leaving the EU was a bad idea: they're abolishing it in 2021. They've finally realised we're not at war anymore, and that the detrimental physical and mental health effects don't outweigh the "benefit" of getting an extra hour of sunlight.

Being 5 hours ahead of my partner instead of 6 for three weeks is nice, though.

im back, and dst only really affects the games i like to play, now Fire Emblem Heroes resets later at night.

I'm pretty confused as to why Trump has left the UK out of his travel ban, considering we have nearly 600 Coronavirus cases over here. About time our own government started taking the threat seriously.

EDIT: And judging from that joke of a "speech" that Boris has just held, its pretty clear that they still aren't taking it seriously at all

My school closed down yesterday, but unexpectedly reopened today and uh, that band event I was supposed to go to on Sunday got postponed to I don't know when. The school play got postponed to I don't know when too. Not that the play affected me or anything unless I decide in the near future to hop aboard the back stage crew at the last minute or something, but the band event...UGH! WE WORKED SO HARD!

So on my day off, I walked to Walmart and got Pokemon Cards. Got a Indeedee V Full art card so that was fun. ^_^ Also got Dairy Queen for dinner after an hour of nagging. Lol.

EDIT: Just checked facebook. They canceled the whole band event. They're not even postponing it! WTF!
