I have one more week to go and then I am off for two weeks for Christmas <3

Honestly this year has been the most stressful of my life so far and I am really looking forward to the end of it >.>
 
I've not had much holiday this year - a couple of days next to Bank Holidays for a long weekend, a week in the summer, and a week for my birthday. Going in during or after Christmas sounds so depressing...
 
Yeah I'll be working this break too. We have special elections in January so a campaign is hiring me as their junior manager which means I'll be working most of the break.
 
mine does both kinda? more christmas day than christmas eve, though.

idk what we're going to be doing this christmas. plans tend to be last minute, so...
 
My work doesn't give New Year's Day off automatically to part-timers, it comes out of your allocated holiday hours if you choose to take it off...same for Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. That's digusting, tbh. Thankfully since I'm on a contract for services I can take whatever holiday I choose; I just don't get paid for it. That'll change one way or another next year, but I am grateful for it for now because I absolutely do not want to work between Christmas and New Year. That should be a holiday period everyone should be entitled to ._.

My grandparents are visiting on the 22nd, but apart from that we're not doing anything...we never do. It'll be like any other day in the week, where we all keep to ourselves as best we can.
 
The whole week off would be amazing?!

My work only gives us Christmas off, every other day we're open. oof

Working for me, although it was painfully slow and delayed a lot of messages earlier.

I just had to do a Windows update...last time I did one I had to restart my laptop 5 times to get it to work again. This time it did it first time with no problems. I hate Microsoft sometimes ._.
