I have what has been to described to me as "an unholy abomination of Pokemon spiriting"
And a couple of Dragon eggs as I can't resist the rare ones.
Usually I take out the eggs just to leave N'ocorn



edits: anyone seen the "leak" chinese dragon pokemon?
 
I always fall for April Fools jokes because I never remember what day it is

The last one had the theme colours all negative and the posts typed like a gangsta. Previous ones included a Serebii-esque theme, a prank where all our names and avatars were changed to a different Pokémon whenever the page was loaded, one where the regular members were shown as staff and the staff shown as regular members (way too long ago), another prank that was only pulled like two days after April Fools with a Slowpoke theme...

And the best one, in 2012, when they created a bogus account named Lerroux and ran the site like a dictatorship for the whole day taking turns logged on it, and some pretended to be supporters of his while others pretended to rage and quit. It even included a fake Staff lounge open to everyone (and still accessible!) with threads created during the whole of March just for the purpose of making it look real. It was gold.

Yea. I saw through it right at the start but just grabbed popcorn and watched it all unfold. But there were a couple of people genuinely pissed off at the prank, as evidenced by the thread that explained it. Which was fun to see as well.

Basic summaries of the previous years:

2005 - some mods switched accounts. One mod made a fake account and spammed up the forums

2006 - the forums were hacked by "Todoroki" and changed to the "Todoroki Community"

2007 - nothing!

2008 - the members had moderator post bits (supporters appeared as administrators). The actual staff appeared as regular members

2009 - everyone was named Todoroki, with avatars/signatures/user titles and banners removed, so no one knew who was posting

2010 - This happened on April 2nd, so the forums became the SlowPokéCommunity (with appropriate forum skin), and everyone had Slowpoke avatars. The forums were shuffled around. For example

2011 - PC had the same default skin as the Serebii forums. Words were changed around too, so forums like "HeartGold and SoulSilver" were called "Chicken and Pastries" or anything with the word "game" in it actually had to do with "blanket." The mods were also shuffled around to different sections.

2012 - Lerroux was created, and was a fake admin who "took over" PC to make it more like Facebook. Staff pretended to quit. Fake staff forums are "revealed" to the members. Members could "apply" to Lerroux for mod positions.

2013 - every time a member posted, their user name would be a Pokemon and their avatar would be a sprite of that Pokemon (no signatures allowed that day). On rare occasions, a user could be a shiny Pokemon, and their user name would sparkle

2014 - each section had randomized names and descriptions that would change every time the index page was loaded. For example, the Pokemon Anime forum had:

2015 - PC was pretty much run through Gizoogle. The colors of the forum were inverted. Here's what the senior staff's names looked like on one of the inverted colors:

Sadly I wasn't around for Lerroux :( I heard it was a blast though! I wish I had joined just a few months sooner :)
