Was PC your first?

1. Was PokéCommunity your first forum? Yes, it was. I haven't been able to leave since.

2. Have you been a part of other forums or online communities before you found your way here? No.

3. Have you been (or are you currently) on non-pokémon forums? Yes, some spanish gardening sites.

4. What has made you stay at PokéCommunity? Mostly the people, I have many friends in here (Hello TC!) . Also, my love for pogeymonz :P.

1. Was PokéCommunity your first forum?
Yup o 3o ROM Hacks drew me in ahaha.

2. Have you been a part of other forums or online communities before you found your way here?
Does Neopets count?

3. Have you been (or are you currently) on non-pokémon forums?
I guess Gaiaonline counts towards this? If so, then yes; though I'm mostly on their forums for the Pokemon section.

4. What has made you stay at PokéCommunity?
Trading 8D I love collecting Pokemon, more specifically events, so a great and welcoming trading community really convinced me to anchor myself here o 3o I've also made some great friends inside and outside of TC, though not as many outside haha > 3<

1. Was PokéCommunity your first forum?
Yes.

2. Have you been a part of other forums or online communities before you found your way here?
Nope.

3. Have you been (or are you currently) on non-pokémon forums?
I was a super moderator at Panem Online (which was I forum I was extremely upset to see have to shut down) and I'm a member at Planet Minecraft. Other than them, I don't believe I've signed up to any other non-pokemon forums.

4. What has made you stay at PokéCommunity?
A number of things. The people here are so diverse and many are amazingly friendly. I've met some great friends here - especially last year - and I continue to do so every day. My section and responsibilities also keep me here, but also my interest in Pokemon, particularly the 4th Generation of games! 8)

Ah, it was. Well, I would have joined in '04, but I was about 9 at the time, but I eventually joined four years later.
2. Have you been a part of other forums or online communities before you found your way here?
Yes, but none of them make me stick as much as this one does.
3. Have you been (or are you currently) on non-pokémon forums?
Well, I'm on a minecraft forum, but It's based off of Pokémon, so I guess so.
4. What has made you stay at PokéCommunity?
It was the community of the forum, honestly.

1. Was PokéCommunity your first forum? - None at all, but it was my first Pokemon Forum I joined.

2. Have you been a part of other forums or online communities before you found your way here? - I have been on hundreds of forums since I started on the internet back in very late 2002, around December or so.

3. Have you been (or are you currently) on non-pokémon forums? - the only other ones I'm on include: computers & related stuff, cats, learning languages, music & movies... although recently I rarely even visit (lack of interest). Same reason why along the years I left many other forums, lost interest or forums went dead. Only two I actually still active on is one for Metal music and the other one for Sim City 4 (which in my opinion is slowly dying as well)

In one of my language learning websites (started off as Solar Net, then they where renamed Global Experience) I was a moderator in one of their sections. Once the forums where removed I stopped visiting everyday. Now I go there about once a month or so. (I have some experience moderating).

4. What has made you stay at PokéCommunity? - not sure the reason, but probably a place where I could have "conversations" and "opinions" with other Pokemon fans as well. Its fun to visit and check out whats new.... PokeCommunity in a way is my home page.

1. Was PokéCommunity your first forum?
Nope,I dont even remember what that was x)
2. Have you been a part of other forums or online communities before you found your way here?
Yes, Serebii and Bulbagarden

3. Have you been (or are you currently) on non-pokémon forums?
Nope

4. What has made you stay at PokéCommunity?

It seems pretty laid back

1. Was PokéCommunity your first forum? - No, it was like my 4th Pokémon forum too.

2. Have you been a part of other forums or online communities before you found your way here? - I used to usually frequent in PKMN.NET, then I used Seribii for a few weeks and then I found PC.

3. Have you been (or are you currently) on non-pokémon forums? - Soooooo many, not even going to list them as I'll be here for hours.

4. What has made you stay at PokéCommunity? - I honestly just liked it the most, and I found it the most civil pokémon forum.

1. Was PokéCommunity your first forum?
Haha no. My first forum was way back in the 90s (1998-99 maybe?), it was the CBBC Newsround Messageboard. I remember having to ask what " :) " meant, because to me it was just colon-bracket. Dial-up FTW. :D

2. Have you been a part of other forums or online communities before you found your way here?
I generally find it difficult to actively belong to more than one forum at a time... I don't know why. When I first hit secondary school I started a forum so students could interact with each other called "blah" (original name I know), and when that crashed and burned I went to the forum belonging to the assistant admin, "Accel - The Car Forum". I had (and still have) no idea about cars, but it was a nice community albeit small.

After that I got into Doctor Who roleplaying on a site called Vote Saxon (votesaxon.co.uk), which after three years I graduated to admin ^^ . But I was kicked out because I had to audacity to negatively critisise an episode of Doctor Who once and it kinda when downhill from there (I was a teenager... you know the rest :P ). I eventually made the real switch to PC after I got kicked, and it was so much better.

I'm currently on Bulbapedia. I've written a few articles (my particular favourite is the one on Pikachu's clone from the first movie and special, that was fun to write), but I'm not a huge part of the community there - I may be mistaken, but my general impression of Bulba is that they're a little full of themselves...

3. Have you been (or are you currently) on non-pokémon forums?
Actually, this is my first dedicated Pokémon forum (though not website), so yes, every other forum I've ever belonged to was non-Pokémon. Though that didn't stop me being a fan. :D

4. What has made you stay at PokéCommunity?
Of all the forums I've belonged to, this has been the best one. It's welcoming, fun, constantly active and everyone doesn't... hate each other (if you know what I mean by that). I'm not going to pretend it's perfect (it's not - there are some issues and spats as with any large group of people), but I think the community is the most developed and most diverse of all the Pokémon forums. It's the longest I've ever actively belonged to a forum. It's just brilliant. ^^

1. Was PokéCommunity your first forum?
More or less. Technically I joined Gaia Online in 2004, buuut that barely counts as a "forum". It's way too commercial, and different.

2. Have you been a part of other forums or online communities before you found your way here?
Refer to the first answer!

3. Have you been (or are you currently) on non-pokémon forums?
Two, yes. One's an anime forum, and one is for Bleach.
I'm not super active on them.

4. What has made you stay at PokéCommunity?
Well, I guess, I've left one or twice, but I always check in whether or not I post a lot.
I think the forum just has sentimental value to me, because it was my internet home for a lot of years, sooo therefore leaving completely is hard to do. It's like leaving a family home and not visiting, despite the fact that you live down the street and can technically visit whenever you want. xD; So I do check in. The temptation is there.

1. Was PokéCommunity your first forum?
Nope. Pokémonelite2000 was my first, I think.

2. Have you been a part of other forums or online communities before you found your way here?
Um, before PC it was just pe2k, really. But I have been part of other places at the same time as I've been on PC, or during my breaks from this place. I joined Facebook a little while before I joined PC, I think xD

3. Have you been (or are you currently) on non-pokémon forums?
I occasionally pop into the MS Paint Adventures forums, but not regularly. Other than that... No. PC is my place.

4. What has made you stay at PokéCommunity?
The people (mostly) and the gorgeous layout and features (I'm a sucker for nice things) and the RPing (I love the way we RP here, compared to on many other forums, and it's not just about pokémon) and the broadness of PokéCommunity. You can really come on here and talk about anything, because there is a place for everything. PC fits me well as a home on the internet.

1. Was PokéCommunity your first forum?
Not by a long shot, I must have joined about five forums before I landed on these shores.

2. Have you been a part of other forums or online communities before you found your way here?
This is super duper redundant ngl.

3. Have you been (or are you currently) on non-pokémon forums?
I've developed something of a habit of spending about two years on forums as a regular poster, getting notable / modded and then kinda slowly dropping off, but that's only happened on one forum naturally, the other is in the midst of happening due to personal issues and time constraints

4. What has made you stay at PokéCommunity?
The atmosphere is quite unique here, it's honestly something admirable that such a community feeling has fostered here. It's nice and relaxed, it's more like a big group of friends than anything else. On every other forum it ranges from mildly aggressive to full on war and it's nice to have a place where people genuinely like each other, for once ^_^

1. Was PokéCommunity your first forum?
Nope. However I did start lurking in around 2007.

2. Have you been a part of other forums or online communities before you found your way here?
Yes. I have been on *counts with fingers* at least ten different boards before coming to PC.

3. Have you been (or are you currently) on non-pokémon forums?
I used to, but I've been becoming inactive on them.

4. What has made you stay at PokéCommunity?
By far PokéCommunity has the most welcoming community I have ever seen. It's also aged incredibly well for the six years I've lurked at least.

1. Was PokéCommunity your first forum?
Yeah, I think so.

2. Have you been a part of other forums or online communities before you found your way here?
Nope.

3. Have you been (or are you currently) on non-pokémon forums?
Nope.

4. What has made you stay at PokéCommunity?
The community, notably the staff and select members. Seeing the same people at PC for a few years alongside me really gives me a sense of being part of something.

1. Was PokéCommunity your first forum?
No, actually. I, like millions of other children at the time, found my first forum through Bulbapedia. The staff there are complete asshats, and can't stand someone that doesn't constantly suck on their e-peens. So, I left, and I've never regretted it. Nor have I ever felt better with such a big decision.

2. Have you been a part of other forums or online communities before you found your way here?
Yeah. Refer to the first question ;)

3. Have you been (or are you currently) on non-pokémon forums?
I think the only other non-Pokémon forum I've joined was Simtropolis. I joined their community because it looked amazing and had a lot of resources, but mostly so I could blog about my cities in SimCity 4 in their City Journals section. As of now I've really lost activity on there. And I hear from some sources that their staff are asshats, too. Meh.

4. What has made you stay at PokéCommunity?
The friendly staff, and the nice and open userbase. And also a head honcho that would actually acknowledge that I exist (Hint: Archaic's not as nice as some think). In fact I wouldn't be here if this weren't the case.

1. Was PokéCommunity your first forum? It was definitely my first pokemon forum, but not my first forum in general.

2. Have you been a part of other forums or online communities before you found your way here? Plenty of them. I used to RP on a Hogwarts forum, and I also used to be on a forum for Jamie Kennedy Don't judge me lol, and a digimon forum as well.

3. Have you been (or are you currently) on non-pokémon forums? Somewhat, yes.

4. What has made you stay at PokéCommunity? I read this wrong. I'm not really sure, actually. I guess because I've been here for nine years that I just couldn't stay away. It's always been my home, and it was also where I grew up since I was sixteen. Basically, if it wasn't for PC, I never would have grown into the person I was today.

This is my first community I ever joined and planned to be a part of. I came here to say my opinion, be helpful to others and express my love for Pokèmon. I didn't go to any other forums before this, but now I am part of a new forum. In my signature the link to the site I am Executive Editor on (other wise known as SuperMod) is a very new site currently in its Beta stage. Feel free to check that out if you'd like. I'm connected to many other non-Pokèmon related forums Moderating or just plain being a part of the sites trying to help.

One of the reasons why I haven't moved on from PC is the people. Everyone here is so nice and helpful. They let me know when I do something wrong and I learn how to correct it, they teach me stuff I didn't know about Pokèmon and they help me help others in need.

My goal is to someday Moderate PC and help anyone to the best of my abilities and to never loose that position. Thank you, have a great day.

Was PokéCommunity your first forum?
No, far from that.

Have you been a part of other forums or online communities before you found your way here?
Yes I have, though I'd rather not go into detail. :3c

Have you been (or are you currently) on non-pokémon forums?
I'm a member at several other different non-Pokémon forums, but I'm only active at two non Pokémon forums now.

What has made you stay at PokéCommunity?
The members and how friendly/awesome everyone is here. 8)

1. Was PokéCommunity your first forum?
No, I've been on a cwalk forum before, and a forum for my World of Warcraft guild in which I was an officer (mod).

2. Have you been a part of other forums or online communities before you found your way here?
My answer is stated above, lol.

3. Have you been (or are you currently) on non-pokémon forums?
I've been on two. Again, answers stated above. But I've quit them, lack of interest from dancing anymore and my World of Warcraft guild moved to another server.

4. What has made you stay at PokéCommunity?
Great community, I get to trade with other people, helping me complete my Pokedex. Always making new friends every time.
The forum doesn't only talk about Pokemon, it's a very diverse forum.
The challenges are EXTREMELY fun and is being modded by none other than Sydian, who is an awesome friend also.

1. Was PokéCommunity your first forum?
Nope. Was on my first forum back when I was ten I think.

2. Have you been a part of other forums or online communities before you found your way here?
Mew's Hangout (been gone for years now) a few Danny Phantom Forums, Gaia Online, and others. So yeah.

3. Have you been (or are you currently) on non-pokémon forums?
I have been. Currently am not though.

4. What has made you stay at PokéCommunity?
The people, the environment, the fact that even if I become bored with Pokemon there are plenty of other sections to be in, the fact that I'm a mod here, and other reasons which are escaping me but I know are totally there.
