Haha, you would be shocked at me writing something that isn't PokéStory material. (lol)

But yeah, it's official. That's how the story goes in Red/Blue Rescue Team. When it comes to video games and anime, I take the plot very seriously, despite the random weirdness I throw around in the PokéStory thread. xD

Plot and characterization are like the only things I can do regarding writing etc, so of course I love the stories in PMD, the anime, the mangas, etc. XD

Regairding bosses, in my latest pmd2 run, I had Cyndaquil(me) spam Smokescreen when needed, then Pikachu would either use Tail Whip or Thunderwave to further weaken them. That's when we attack. While beating Dialga, I did:
C-Smokescreen
P-*go for foes* Violent Seed
P-Thunder Wave
C-Lava Plume
P-Readying attack
C-Lava Plume
P-Focus Punch
Repeat. Easy KO. :P

Yo I have about an hour until I go to my friend's house won't be on til tomorrow Flare signin out. XP

But those are unlocked very late in the game aren't they? Still the recruit rate is pretty low, you must be lucky XD

Luckily the Friend Bow still exists in Red/Blue Rescue Team, but I'd say the recruitment process is infinitely easier in Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky, due to having more available options to increase your recruitment rate (such as the Amber Tear, Golden Mask, the Fast Friend IQ skill, etc.).

On a side note, today is the emptiest day I've ever seen at PT. Like, I'm literally playing by myself right now. =ccc
(Then again, I wasn't able stick around this morning, so I guess I missed out on everyone being here.)

EDIT: Well, at least I just managed to postbomb about 90% of the threads here! :D

Speaking of recruitments, what sort of pokemon did people try to recruit? How many members did you guys have on your Mystery Dungeon teams?

Ah, I see. If only PT had more nocturnal people to keep the place company, haha.

As for recruitments, it honestly depends on the game. In the Explorers titles, you really have little reason to refuse a Pokémon when it asks to be recruited, because your team can have an unlimited roster with no restrictions. However, in the Rescue Team titles, you need to purchase so many different Friend Areas, and they're usually really expensive. The Friend Areas that can hold legendaries are usually sought after, so most people try to save up their money on those. Also, they would usually try to hunt down the Friend Areas of their own personal favorite Pokémon, but that's to be expected, haha.

I bought out all the Friend Areas so I just recruit anyone I can meet. The only time I decline an offer is if the Pokemon species in question has already been recruited. Arceus knows how many Spheals want to be my friend.

I had all friend areas unlocked and just tried to recruit everyone I hadn't recruited yet, with the exception if the Pokémon took a party slot that I needed to recruit a boss.

Floony is my favourite shiny after Relicanth, the yellow suits her sooo well and the colour scheme with the light blues are just perfect ♥
