What made you smile/happy today?

Being done with the front sprites for the Oblivia Extradex. Sure, I may have to do some reworking of the spritework later, but that's still a large load off my back.
Back sprites are likely next, since I don't need to make icon sprites for Poke Wilds due to the overworld sprites functioning as said icon sprites.

I can now make a banner for this profile out of them since I have all of them done.

Hearing a true story about a nice guy named Jack. In 2019 he was on an airplane, where saw a nearly 90-year-old lady named Violet traveling by herself. He helped her get around, and gave her his airplane seat- she had an economy ticket, and he wanted her to be in the more luxurious section. Because of his kindness the airline was also inspired to offer special packages to senior fliers. Here are the two friends. She looks so sweet enjoying her cake!

Waking up and seeing a bunch of posts like these on my twitter feed!
Aqours had a collab with a Japanese baseball team, the Rakuten Eagles, so I got to see tons and tons of Arisha and Furirin in these Dia and Ruby jerseys pitching or goofing around, and it's just one more of those several neat little collabs that just give us something really nice. Clearly the method to get me to actually care about sports is to include Arisha in them.

Getting a chance to tell a friend directly "Hey, I'm glad you feel comfortable with me and we get along so well, and I'm really happy being friends with you". Tell someone you love that they mean something to you today!

This isn't just about the GT, but if I had to choose between this community, and the other non-Pokemon community that was a big part of my life on Discord, I'm having more fun in this one. Biased because I've been into Pokemon longer. :P

(This was yesterday, but still something that made me happy for the entire rest of the day.)

I wrote a majorly happy scene in the story I'm currently working on, and really enjoyed writing it. I'd been planning on the scene for a while, but hadn't got to it previously. I like to write my stories from the ground up, rather than back and forth with different parts here and there. It does mean that I have to work through the less exciting parts, but then I also get to really enjoy the exciting parts once I get to them!

Tiktok star Ren/Nubeez/2fingered_t_rex. I love her bohemian sense of style and her warm, sweet fun-loving personality, also admire the autonomy she has despite her disability. She's a dancer, athlete, artist, cook and just really cool.

I also saw some news about how Japan is developing a new medicine to help people to regrow their teeth that could go on the market in a few years. I think that would be really good for people who have lost teeth from disease, medications, accidents and age etc

I was refolding clothes at my job when a customer stopped me and it went like this:
Customer: I love your earrings [rubber ducky earrings] and socks [Spongebob socks] and crocs [I have a lot of rainbow charms on them] and just... everything
Me: Aww thanks. I love your hair. Short hair gang!

A little moment of solidarity. Real recognizes real.

Also getting home from work on time. Today felt especially long for some reason, even ignoring that Thursday is the longer shift (we're open until 7:00 as opposed to 5:30)

I got to spend a real late night out with my dad. Like, "next bus arrives in half an hour and we'll be lucky to be home at 1am" type of late, but it was an absolute joy. One thing I really wanted to set as a new year's resolution was to spend more time with him and really connect with him, and I'm endlessly thankful to be able to see him again so soon and to just have fun with him. It not only feels like I'm achieving that goal but also getting to continue to make great memories with him and make his life better by doing so. I don't even feel tired so late because I'm just so cheerful about it.

Seeing a video from my hero. <3 He usually only post on weekends (Friday, Saturday & Sunday). So, he always lightens my mood a lot. >w<

No kidding? O_O I could use something like that, having lost my own teeth due to personal reasons.

Getting distracted decorating my Tatooine stronghold in Star Wars: The Old Republic and not getting to watch Pokémon Ultimate Journeys until somewhat later when I had sufficiently improved it. It looks even more Life Day-y (Life Day is the Star Wars equivalent of Christmas) now. Went through several Cartel Coins to do it, so I'm starting to run low... Was still worth it, though! It looks major!!!
