In Star Wars: The Old Republic I had gotten an 'Improved Speeder Piloting I' item in the five things I got from an Ultimate Cartel Pack, which gives the player's character who uses it the ability to pilot/ride speeders and mounts. Since my character who'd gotten it had already unlocked all five levels of that, and none of my of my other characters needed it either, I went to one of the starter worlds where two of the eight class stories begins to look for a new player who would be able to use it. I'd originally intended to sell it for 42 credits (which is ridiculously cheap and could be afforded by anyone), but when I offered it on the General Chat the person who was interested in it turned out to be a Free-To-Play player, whom the game doesn't allow to trade. Fortunately, I was able to use the in-game mailing system to send it to them, but of course because of some changes that had been made to the game (to improve the in-game economy) sending it to them cost 83 thousand-something credits, which is relatively expensive.
To be honest, although it ended up costing a wee bit to do that, I'm really glad I was able to do that. I remember when I had first starting playing the game as a Free-To-Play player, and didn't have all the special things I can access now- subscribers can unlock speeder piloting at level 10, whilst Free-To-Play players have to wait until level 20. This player was only level 11, so this is definitely going to be helping them.
