What made you smile/happy today?

I got locked out of my account for one of my video games, so I contacted support a few days ago. They finally got back with me and I got my account back!
 
I'm on a staycation! It's in the seemingly random destination of Wooster, Ohio - but I'm at a really nice, clean Quality Inn staying in one of their big executive suites :)
 
We were cleaning up yesterday and found an old notebook I had, where years ago I wrote down every single goal I could think of in my life. It's something I've always remembered doing ever since I wrote in it back then, but always just sorta put it somewhere and didn't ever look through it since. It's also a piece of advice I love giving people, to write down any goal you want to achieve in your life no matter how big or small it is, and it was nice to kind of have that come full circle for me. One thing that I saw in it that really stood out to me was "I want to graduate high school", and it felt really great to be reminded of how much that was a struggle for me and how I've overcome it and can be proud of achieving it.
I only skimmed through it a little bit, I didn't read everything fully, but it was really nice to both remember I have it and think about how far I've come, and also that it was a really neat conversation piece with my bf and it was something really interesting to talk about.
 
The manager of the Quality Inn I'm staying at told me I'm one of the best guests he's had in his hotel in years :) It was great to hear, but also kinda concerning what some of their other guests behave like.

Talking with my mom about some stuff that's been stressing me out this past week.
A lot of information got dropped on me suddenly and I've been feeling like I have to do so many scary things as fast as possible and being hard on myself about putting them off because they're difficult and overwhelming all at once. It felt nice to have her help me with some of it and for her to tell me that it's okay to not do all of it at once, and that I don't have to tell myself "I should have done this days ago". I've had this thought stuck in my head that "all this stuff would be simple as long as I'm confident enough to pull the trigger" and taking things slowly to help build up that confidence makes me feel a lot better about doing it all.
I really appreciate people's kindness in helping me out.
 
I got these like bra insert things made for transfems to give me a better body shape and the gender euphoria makes me feel very happy and confident <3
 
They FINALLY released an English-dubbed clip of Garp's Galaxy Impact on Youtube!!! MAJOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
A very silly yet awkward moment that happened to me in FF14 today lol.
 
I went to my local Humane Society today- donated a new dog collar to them, and heard some good news while I was there. Earlier this year I visited the shelter because some jerks who live on my street abandoned their cats in the middle of an ice storm, so I plucked them out of the snow and took them to the Humane Society. That was about 3 months ago, and today I ran into a staff member who told me that all of those cats have now found good homes. I am happy to know 8 lives were saved, including one cat who was pregnant and safely delivered her litter of kittens. Whew!
 
This happened Saturday, at the grocery store where I work. I was sorting the milks and pulling them to the front of the case so customers didn't have to reach way back into it to get them, when this older man stopped me and asked if I could get something off a top shelf for him that he couldn't reach. I'm tall with long arms, so I get this a lot.

There's this church that often has a bagpipe concert in the autumn with these two bagpipers, one older and one younger that we've gone to several times. I recognised the man in the store as the older piper, and asked him about it. Indeed it was him, and I said my parents and I always really enjoy going to the concerts. He mentioned that there was going to be one again this autumn, and he hoped to see me there.

This really made my day. :love:
 
Got to hug my grandma for the first time in several years today. We have both been going through a lot and it's been practically impossible to see each other due clashing medical needs like isolation etc.

I was able to meet up with her for an hour or two today and it made me so very happy. I love her so much 💗
