What made you smile/happy today?

My dad got a new car after months of driving around a car that would constantly break down. My brother let him have his old car for literally a dollar.

Final Fantasy XIV's new patch came out yesterday and I had a great time doing the new raids with my group! And while those raids are awesome and I haven't been able to stop thinking about them, it was also a really great opportunity to bond with the two or three people in that group that I haven't been able to feel as close to, since they were just people I shared a mutual friend with. Just talking so much with them and having a really great experience together has made me feel a lot closer and happier with them in under 24 hours. We're doing a lot of preparation to do some new bosses that are coming out next week, and it's been really awesome to feel like we're all excited to work as one unit and help each other out, rather than just have each other be "people we've met, but don't talk to". I've been hyped beyond belief.
 
It wasn't today, but last night was something that made me feel really happy and touched. Eva is the first actually autistic Survivor to ever play, and I wholeheartedly praise her for what happened just last night. She ended up dealing with a meltdown because she got frustrated with a game. She ended up fianlly winning the challenge. Well, she was still melting down after that. I'll just show you what I mean:

 
Deciding that after a falling out with the actual NaNoWriMo site (long story; inappropriate disaster occurred; best not to ask), I decided to do an "unofficial" version of my own. I'm still doing it, but I feel like if I can replicate the original version in some ways, I can also make my own rules. I like doing it my own way because now I can add some of my own disability accommodations for myself to make it a bit easier for me. This makes me happy because now, I don't feel restricted to how the NaNo events were meant/supposed to be. <3
 
Not today, but yesterday:

Taking a slow meandering walk through my neighborhood with my dog. The weather was just nice enough that people were outside, and they were friendly. Even waving to us as they drove by. Since I was taking it slow, my dog got to sniff everything she wanted to and I got to be nosy and look at people's houses/landscaping. It was just really nice to be outside and to see the people of the neighborhood.

Today:

The next town over finally put in sidewalks on a patch of road that had been dangerous to walk down before. Now I have more neighborhoods to explore!

What made me smile was defeating a much higher ranked guild during the Legend of the Phoenix guild war. Even though we were underlevelled compared to them, we held the line, so proud of my members.

Happy Birthday! Such a cute drawing. I love it. I like the dratini plush too, even if it's got fakemon colors. Glad you got something different for your birthday.
 
The nintendo switch 2 direct made me really happy, especially the new KIRBY AIR RIDE GAME AAAAAAA IM SO EXCITED I LOVE KIRBY AIR RIDE (it's technically called kirby air riders but ehhhh tomato tomato potato potato) :33333333 I don't know if I will actually be able to get it but I LOVE KIRBY SO I MUST!!!! (Also deltarune chapters 3+4 YAYYYYYY)

Happy birthday!!!!! :3333 also the colours are wrong but it's still pretty anyway :D at least the knockoff plushie looks kinda cute in a skrunkly way
