Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, "MBTI" -an introspective self-report questionnaire indicating differing psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions.
    Test

I got INTP on this test.

This is a good test you found! I fit two of them since my judging and perceiving are equal

infp. last time I did this quiz i got isfp so i guess thats consistency, even if these tests really arent all that deep

I'm technically ISTJ but the Sensor/Intuition portion was 53-47, so very split. ISTJ or INTJ basically. And, of course, those two are my top matches.

I did another test a while back and got INTJ as a result. Doing this one the result I got was:

INTJ (which fits with the other test)
    INTP
    INFP

Kind of sort of to be expected. Well, at least this one gave me alternatives to "you will die a lonesome and horrible death" xD

I've actually dived into the theory behind these types and learned about our cognitive functions - for fun! It's hardly real science, but it does explain things better than astrology ahhah

Basically we have 8 functions that determine how we gather information and make decisions.

Ne, Ni, Fe, Fi, Te, Ti, Se and Si

The scales with "introvert vs extrovert" and "judging vs perceiving" etc are simplified dichtomies used for online tests to give a hint of what your type could be. Hence this test saying several types are possible.

I'm ENFP. That means my main 4 functions in order are:
    Ne Fi Te Si

Extroverted intuition (Ne) means I gather information through a "gut feel" all the time, I sense connections and implications and live in a lot of possible futures. I also have a very easy time jumping from idea to idea, which often confuses people with low Ne lol.
Introverted Feeling (Fi) as auxiliary means I use my inner compass of morals and values to decide which ones of all ideas generated by Ne are worth following.
Tertiary Extroverted Thinking (Te) means I value taking action and being able to make good decisions, but I'm not awesome at it at all time. It helps putting my NeFi into motion at least.
Inferior Introverted Sensing (Si) means I was a messy teenager lol but nowadays I've started to think more about consequences.

For contrast, an INTP for example!
    Ti Ne Si Fe

Introverted Thinking (Ti) as dominant function means you always see things in ways of logic (ish) or automatically try to fit everything you experience into a mental framework together with everything else. Everything should make sense, and you will figure out how.
Ne as auxiliary lets you spin out from Ti and be good at discovering new paths forward from what your Ti has determined makes sense. INTPs stereotypically have very active minds!
Si as tertiary can make you prone to nostalgia and value taking past experiences as a guide, but you might be pretty bad at it until you become older.
Inferior Extraverted Feeling (Fe) is why INTPs are stereotypically antisocial nerds ahah; until (typically) your late twenties or so, you're unlikely to be comfortable with expressing or being on the receiving end of emotions and might try to avoid people for that reason. Of course, we're all different and some INTPs probably learn to grasp their Fe earlier and can instead use it as a tool to understand what people around you mean and want and how you can act in order to get what you want from them.

/tl;dr it's complicated astrology but sadly without pretty star pictures

I always found most of these personality tests to be very superficial and surface-level analysis, but I've taken the MBTI test several times over the past 5 years and it's typically quite accurate in much higher detail. It's pretty impressive how accurate the test is. I've yet to hear anyone say their test results don't reflect their personality.

Well some sites really generalize a lot and talk about types in terms of likes and dislikes and personality. I don't fit every descriptor typically put on an "ENFP", but the functions match me and the way I, well, function x)

We're all different, have different lives and experiences and personal flavors, but the idea behind MBTI is that for example two INTJs essentially have the same underlying reasons and motivations for their actions and needs.

Hence it becomes uncannily accurate at times yeah ahah

I've taken several different versions of this test, and get either INTP or INTJ nearly every time. That said, I honestly think if it weren't for anxiety I'd be an extrovert- I just literally can't talk to people which makes me introverted.

Have always been an ENFP - I think I have been ENFJ once or twice in the past but the first is the one I align with the most strongly, it's the most accurate by far. :D

I've taken these sorts of online tests several times, but am not really sure which is the one that most accurately describes me. A lot of the time there's question where I'm like "I don't know" or the answer to the question will vary depending on how exactly it's worded, or would get a different answer if there was more detail. Then there's the case of the test in the OP where it literally ask the same question multiple times, which was basically "do you love life". That and I'm sure my mood can cause minor variations in the results too. It's not that my results wildly vary (but there's also not no variation either), I'm not getting one result and then its polar opposite the next, it's just....which is truly me?

The one consistent thing though has been getting the introvert part, but that was already obvious to me.
