    THIS IS NO WAY A THREAD TO ASK WHO YOUR FAVORITE MEMBER IS.
    IT IS ABOUT FAVORITISM IN GENERAL.

    I will bite your head clean off if you even try.

    Do you play favorites? How does it make you feel when you learn you're not someone's so called "favorite"? Anyway, this applies to more than just people. What are your opinions on favoritism?

    I have some secret favorites and yes I do play favoritism. But if it involves a competition or contest of sort, I either judge fairly or just run away from it. {XD}

    Oh, I definitely have favorites.

    But that's because there are some members I talk to off of this forum. In fact I interact with them far more off of this forum than I actually spend browsing it.

    threads where we list our favorite members are so fun though. honestly I'm thinking about doing that TODAY. VERY SOON. maybe.

    anywho, everyone says they don't play favorites but everyone is playing favorites at some level, be it subconscious or otherwise. it is impossible to like everything (or everyone) equally however much you try to suppress it.

    also I'm totally aware of how I'm going to be that teacher who makes her favourite students very clear lmao
    being the Preferred Student of the head of the english department + the girls dean let me get away with so much during high school and I think that is a privilege that everyone should that same chance in the future
    that and I know myself and I know I'd be charmed by students so easily into being the Cool Teacher

    I play favorites, just like anyone else, but for more official matters I try to avoid that. I obviously can't empty my head of all bias, but I can try my best and be open to what other people have to say.

    I don't know how to effectively play ' Favoritism '. Whoever is on my mind at that precise time will be my favorite, lol.
    It varies honestly because the aura people have changes frequently to where they don't allow you to play ' favorites '. I'd rather just love in the moment regardless of whether I've known one person a week or a decade.

    My friends tend to complain that I call ' strangers ' my favorite people, but love is love doesn't matter the time to me. =D

    I don't have any favorites, as each member, friend or not, has something that rubs me the wrong way that prevents me to favor him/her over others.

    I'd say I have favouritism to some degree. In terms of who I actually know well here it's probably all too obvious with a wee bit of investigation and he gets enough ego boosts off everyone as it is. Any more hot air to that head and he might float away!

    Favouritism is sort of natural. Jealousy is too. I think it's something that mellows out with age though? Like, generally I'd say you're very likely to have a particular BEST FRIEND as a kid, and that kinda goes more in the direction of being like a select few close friends as adults? I mean, some people will probably have that one singular best friend ever but in my case I have a few close friends in totally different circumstances which makes it sort of hard to compare friendships in a sense. It's not like an RPG where you have a fucking Friend Level for each person that hovers over their head and goes up and down depending on your interactions with them. (thank god there isn't, for that matter.)

    I think favoritism is bad, but I am guilty of it. I guess, as long as one does not display it outwardly, favoritism wont hurt anyone.
