    so there's a trend going around that has incited circular, transparent avatars. these are not bad avatars (some are hella cool) but i've noticed a metric tonne of them cropping up lately and i'm wondering what the charm is of them, exactly

    and if you're all actually trying to edge out the classic avatar shape, i urge you to STOP, because we are becoming an endangered breed and it's because if this new circular, transparent avatar agenda that we are a dying breed. please, if you have any compassion...

    the fun part is that hips are not square, but hips are also not circular nor transparent

    I always stick to a traditional square avatar. In fact I don't even think there's that many avatars I've used that weren't squared, and they always stayed around the same size (150x150 prior to the current supporter system, and 180x180 after the current system came in).
