    "The idea of the game is to get as far as possible across the roads, rivers, grass and train tracks without dying. The player plays as a mascot and must swipe the screen in the corresponding direction to move the mascot or tap to go forward. Along the way there will be many obstacles, such as rivers, trees, boulders, cars, trains and sometimes even gravestones. To get past these obstacles the player must go past them at the appropriate moment and path to ensure survival or to use other objects to get across rivers such as logs and lily pads. "

    This is El Héroe Oscuro. He's been heralded as the champion of video games. Think you have what it takes to take the title from him? Each week, he will be competing against you for the highest score. What will you get if you beat his score? A raffle ticket that at the end of every 5 week cycle will enter you into a chance to win a $25 Supporter Rank or video game gift card of your choice. The more times you beat him, the more raffle tickets you get and the better chance you have of winning the prize. But don't take him lightly: he's pretty damn good at video games...

    Rules

    As this is a free mobile game, you can access the game in the App store on your phone by searching for "Crossy Road" - it will be the first match. It doesn't cost a single dime to get so download it.

    After your game is officially over, take a screenshot of your score and comment below with said picture. This is how you enter into this challenge.

    You have an unlimited amount of tries to get the greatest score. However, only the top 3 scoring members will obtain an emblem.

    You have one week to participate in this challenge, meaning the last date to send an entry will be January 10th, 11:59 PM ET.​

    So after doing a little bit of research, there's an added step for Android users:

    1. Go to the store and download the Amazon App (this is also free.)
    2. Download Crossy Road from Amazon App (still free at this point.)

    I own an iPhone so I can't actually do this, but that's what it says on the developer's website. It's an added step but it should still work.

    • Hm, this might give me more of an excuse to download another game for my phone.

    Can this be done on an iPad, too? If so, i'll give it a shot some time this week.
