Do you ever think that some old favourites of the characters should return in the current series? We haven't seen the likes of Muk, Cyndaquil, or even Squirtle in a while. Do you think they should appear more often?

My theme song would have to be Move Along by The All-American Rejects. It has a great message, and one that I can relate to. Lots of crap tends to come my way, so it's good to just listen to this song to spur myself on from time to time. Besides this, it's a masterpiece of a song. So yeah...

Yes, the Pokémon animé is very predictable. Seriously, you could probably guess the outcome of an episode by the first four or five minutes. It's the worst with gym battles, though. You always know how they go down. But yeah, Diamond/Pearl has tried to break these trends up a little.

I am currently listening to one of the better J-rock bands - Abingdon Boys School (T.M. Revolution's side-project). I'm working my way through both their live album and their self-titled debut album, and am currently on Lost Reason, featuring Micro from Home Made. Gotta love J-rock!

The dubbing of the Pokémon themselves is the worst. They sound like dirty old men just growl to make their voices. But I think that I've got too used to the voice acting to care how bad it is. I will say that I love James' voice, though. It's so flambouyant, that you can't help but love it.

Johto League Champions, if we're talking about the music. I love the sequence of gym leaders, but Ash and Pikachu jumping through what can only be described as a war zone (rockets, lasers, gunfire, WTF) killed it for me. I detest the Diamond and Pearl openings. They make my blood boil.

In terms of originality, I'd say that Girafarig looks the best. But overall and in general, I like the designs of both Typhlosion and Heracross. Both command attention, and I can imagine both as leadership-type Pokémon.

Quite obviously Blue, especially in the Gold/Silver/Crystal arc, which is why I give props to Gold for trying to cop a feel there. Rock on, brother.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Legend of Dratini." But seriously, it'd be weird. I'm not saying that as a bad thing, though. But they'd have to redesign their whole approach to the franchise, which could change key elements of the game.

I thought they were pretty good. Not much of the Diamond/Pearl animé has really impressed me, but these episodes certainly got my attention. Most notably the Croagunk-Toxicroak showdown.
