I always go with the actual names of the characters so: Me: Gold Rival: Silver Pokemon: I don't give them nicknames.

In SS, I went to battle Ho-oh. Got it to where I wanted it, went to get a ball, and found out I only had 1 pokeball.

I can never really tell when the lighting changes, so i guess I think they should fix it somewhat.
