Pokemon Games You've Never Played

We all have Pokemon games we've never played. What are some you've never played?

I've never played any of the Nintendo 64 Pokemon games, the GameCube era, and a majority of the Wii ones.

...So basically the home console games.

And Art Academy. Never touched that one.

I've never played Pokémon Battle Revolution, but I really want to. I've also never played any of the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games. I've also never played the original Pokémon Snap on the Nintendo 64. I think I played pretty much every other Pokémon game though.

Never touched gamecube games nor other pokemon that little of interest

The original Snap, the Ranger games, Coliseum games though I did have the stadium games. Unite.
And apparently there was this crossover game called Conquest. Never even heard of it before I joined here so... =P

Mainline: Emerald, Platinum, Heart Gold / Soul Silver, Black 2 / White 2, Legends: Arceus, and some other alternate versions (like Blue).

Spinoff: Coliseum, XD, Battle Revolution, Mystery Dungeon, the Japan-only TCG game, Cafe Remix, Unite, Let's Go, New Snap, Ranger, Hey You Pikachu, Puzzle League + Challenge, PokePark, Conquest, most of the Rumble games, Trozei, Art Academy, Magikarp Jump, and Masters EX.

Only might be interested in Conquest, of everything above.

Oof. It would be easier for me to list the games I did play, but I'll remain faithful to the premise of the topic anyway.

I have never touched a Gen I game, not even as a ROM. Too glitchy for me, which is also the reason why I never met the original Missingno. I also skipped Gold/Silver and directly played Crystal, because I did so when the VC versions were released. From Gen V, I never touched the White versions, even though in hindsight, I wish I had. From Gen VI, I was originally going to get X but ended up with Y, and picked Alpha Sapphire to have Sableye in my team. From Gen VII, I never touched the Moon versions due to the time gimmick, and I also didn't play Let's Go Eevee for obvious reasons. From Gen VIII, the only mainline game I played was Shield. And now it's looking more and more likely that I'll skip ScaVio and head straight on for whatever comes next.

As for spin-offs, the only ones I actively played were Shuffle (both 3DS and mobile), Puzzle Challenge, Magikarp Jump and Masters before it became Masters EX. Everything else I skipped over.

I've never played most of the spin-off Pokemon games. The only ones I've played are the mobile ones like Go, Magikarp Jump, Masters and Unite. I also played a few hours of Conquest and PMD: Explorers of Sky but never came even close to finishing either one so I don't think they should count. I'm also not sure if Legends: Arceus count as main game or not but I did play it so it's not among these spin-offs I never played.

When it comes to the main line games I never played Emerald and the Let's Go games. I also didn't play a lot of the games that are a part of a pair if I played the counterpart version, for example I never played Blue because I played Red. Besides Blue I also never played Silver, Ruby, Diamond, X, Omega Ruby, Ultra Moon, Shield and Shining Pearl.

For the mainline games, I've never played LeafGreen, Black 2, Sun, Sword, Let's Go Pikachu, and Brilliant Diamond. I've played their counterparts, though.

For the spin-offs, I've never played Pokemon Channel, the PokePark games, the Trading Card games, the Pinball games, the Ranger games, and most of the Mystery Dungeons / Rumbles. I also haven't played Dash, Quest, Shuffle, Unite, Pokken Tournament, Detective Pikachu, and any of the more obscure titles like Art Academy. I played a few hours of Masters and Conquest.

Let's see... I've never played a Mystery Dungeon game, nor the original RBY. Haven't played most of the spinoffs, either. I also didn't bother with the Ranger series despite owning a Guardian Signs Raikou bookmark when i was a wee lad.

I haven't play GameCube games, but I would like to try them one day and not just Colosseum and XD, but also Pokémon Channel. On that topic, I've never played Hey You, Pikachu! on N64 or PokéPark games on Wii. Next, both Trozei and Puzzle games, most Rumble games, all DS Mystery Dungeon games, Rangers games and New Snap game.

Other than that, I have never played Let's GO games (aside from their demo), BDSP, Sword, and Legends: Arceus, but I have no desire to play them.

Missed out on a lot of spinoffs. Played all the main series games except the opposite version of some gens, not going to include those since playing another version pretty much counts for both. So from what I haven't played:

Spoiler:

Did not realize how long the list had gotten and decided to spoiler tag it. Only played Colosseum for the first time last year, planning on starting XD hopefully this year too! Gotta see what that's all about finally, omg.

I played a little bit (like 30 minutes or an hour max) of Red Rescue Team but never finished, so it may as well be on the list too. :x

I've never played most of the spin-offs; Dungeons, Rangers etc, just the Stadiums, Hey You Pikachu (which was complete garbage, the microphone didn't work most of the time and it was boring as shit) and is GO considered a spin-off?
There are also a few counterpart mainline games I have not played such as HG and White.
Otherwise, I've only ever played the mainline.

I never finished a Mystery Dungeon game and I don't know why. Maybe it was because of having to go through an entire dungeon and that making me feel as if I need to finish the dungeon once I start one.

I want to play Pokémon Mystery Dungeon one day. I just want to know, did you enjoy them and how do they differ from regular Pokémon?

  • pokemon trozei - puzzle games don't really appeal to me much.
  • any of the pokemon ranger games - in hindsight, i'm not really sure why i never got into the ranger series, i just didn't. my guess is that i was already knee deep into pokemon mystery dungeon at the time, which i think would come out whenever ranger games would (correct me if im wrong on that)? they're just a series that i've never really given any thought towards so i've never played any.
  • pokepark/pokepark 2 - nothing about it really appealed to me, so i didn't get it. i also kept hearing mixed reviews about it that put me off from trying it. :c
  • let's go pikachu/eevee - pokemon GO catching mechanics don't appeal to me, since i don't really play GO, so i skipped out on this. it's kind of a shame because i hear good things about the rest of the game, but that was the one dealbreaker for me.
  • pokemon unite - don't care about pokemon mobile titles anymore after being invested (and being burned out on) pokemon masters ex. originally i was going to give it a shot, heard about how matches are basically "how fast can you kill zapdos", and i was like "this is probably not for me".
  • pokemon cafe - doesn't appeal to me
  • detective pikachu - same reason as trozei. i think this is less of a puzzle game than it is just solving mysteries, but still not something that really captured my attention much.

Pretty much any spinoff Pokemon game post Gen II. The exceptions being a little of the mobile games.

For GF games - LGP/E. I flat out have no desire to play them at all. If you want to count third versions as separate games, then I've never played Emerald or Platinum. Ruby was a disappointment to me, so I didn't even think about Emerald. Platinum I might have liked because I liked Diamond okay, but I didn't have money to throw around in Gen IV.
