Joke's on you. I grew up playing Gold and it definitely looked better than Silver, especially the sprites. Silver still had the better version exclusives, though...

Or it feels mandatory given how many hollywood movies have it at any rate and it can be super awkward in certain movies rofl
 
Agree. Though that may just be the aroace in me, but these kinds of scenes are uncomfortable to watch. Especially if it's a forced romantic subplot that doesn't really make sense within the plot of the movie. (No I can't think of a specific example, but I would imagine maybe an action movie.) Please Hollywood, there's more to life than romance...

The completely added-for-movie Dwarf X Elf subplot of the Hobbit trilogy comes to mind, and as a fan of the book, I found it both horrible and unnecessary.

The remakes of Gold & Silver aren't as good as the originals.
 
Although I've never played the original GS, I'm still gonna disagree. I played the Crystal VC and I highly prefer HGSS over that.
Newer mechanics and QOL features will always win for me =3

Disagree. There is no exact parameter to measure how long life is and should be. It's subjective, so I disagree with the statement. Thinking about my own feelings, I still can't say because while everyone wishes to live a long life, it's also true that living as an old person has various cons. I don't really care for now.

YouTube is better than TV
 
Agree. I rarely watch actual TV these days.

It is better to talk on the phone rather than send text messages.

I guess it depends on the person. I'm not much of a talker so I rarely call anyone anyway.
I also barely text though so idk. I'll just Disagree I guess as I text more than that I call ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Even if you want to do something, it can be hard to work up the motivation to actually do it.
 
I'm going to answer the last two questions if people don't mind...

I'd much prefer to talk to others over the phone than over text due to how easily something said as a joke or without anger behind it can be misconstrued and cause problems between people that didn't need to be there. It's why I always give people the benefit of the doubt when I read something that seems rude or angry, or I'll ask if I upset them before responding with anger myself in any replies.

As for ReKoil's post, hard agree. I've wanted to reorganize a large portion of my things for the last two years,
all I'm missing at this point is the motivation to get it done.

Tobey Maguire was the best Spiderman.
 
This is hard because they're all very good in their own ways. Tobey was iconic because that's where it all began. He also generated a lot of funny memes. I think Tobey was the best at portraying the "nerdiness" and social awkwardness of Peter, which seems to be more true to the comics. If this wasn't true, then we wouldn't have those memes. Andrew Garfield probably was the most talented actor of them all, but his Spider-Man movies weren't that great in my opinion. I mean, they were ok, but they could have been better. Still, I think he was the best at portraying Peter's emotions because of his great all-around acting skills. Yet, there is something about Tom Holland that I can't quite put my finger on. I am just gravitated to him and his movies more. He seems to be the best at humanizing Peter Parker/Spider-Man and his movies are more relatable to me. I would say Tom Holland is the best Spider-Man, so I very slightly disagree.

Red meat is not as unhealthy as people claim it is.

if i get sick again just cause you can't stay home, i'll be salty. plus with covid it makes it that much more dangerous, especially for those with preexisting conditions.

my statement: solo traveling is a lot of fun

Wired controllers/mice are better than wireless.
 
I have mixed feelings on this. I like the wireless ones I have at home. They've been lasting a long time. At work I always end up having severe issues with wireless mouses, though. The wheel always stops working properly. In the end I always come back to using a wired one.
Guess, I'll still disagree, though.

Galar added less Pokemon than Paldea, and yet there's more that I like, so that would be an Agree for me.
At the end of my playthrough in Violet, I did feel like it didn't have as good a roster of new mons as Galar, but I never counted till just now how many Galar mons I like. It's over twice as much...

Daily life is becoming too expensive.
