It's the chocolate fairy. She tempts people into buying chocolate with the purpose of making them hide it under a pillow. At night she comes and swaps out the chocolate with vegetables. When people found out they needed to develop a defensive mechanism so she couldn't do that, anymore.

But maybe physics is my greatest invention. Too bad I didn't have the idea of mathematics and computer science.

Approach slowly. Lower yourself to their level. Looks quite imposing at your size. Offer them your hand to smell. Do not pet the stranger too quickly. May be viewed as unwelcome or aggressive. Let them decide when. Avoid staring too much also.
