We have a Neighborhood watch here. There are stickers on the stop signs on each street and stuff. Though I don't know any members, haha. it's like crazy secret or something.

I'd love to be a part of something light that, if we had it in my area...but people are nosey enough as is

I don't have to put up with that too often, thankfully. It's not often that little kids are passing by our house...but such a topic does bring back bad memories of my jerk roommates in college who would blast music even past midnight.

I can't, I ****ing can't. As a smoker this sounds hypocritical, but 12 year olds arguing in public about what cigs to buy is too ****ing much for my mind to wrap around. I understand 15, maybe 14 if you're truly an idiot, but 12 is out of this ****ing world. Lack of parenting in this world is astounding, at 12 years old I couldn't even go out with the kinda cash needed for a pack.

When I was around 18-19 (was already smoking for like 1-2 years) my friend and I ecountered two kids (probably around 8-10 of age) who at first were playing at the playground and moment later one of them took pack of RED (red are usually strongest) cigarettes (probably Malboros) and gave one to his "friend" and then they started smoking like old people who had smoked for years. We were in utter shock. I know how you feel dude.

Did I read that right? 12 year olds? Twelve? Doce?

I understand 14-16 year olds but 12 is just way too young. Goes to show that 1. parenting is failing, 2. the media is getting out of hand.

I've seen 13-14 year olds smoking when I go to Mexico. It's just awful, but I can't be like "y'all need to like, not smoke."

Yes, 12 year olds. The kind that are hormone riddled and can't control themselves in an internet cafe, screaming their heads off at a loss in LoL. The kinds you want to smack over the head to get a grip on themselves.

I'm cringing so hard. I live with a 12 year old sister WHO HAS AN iPHONE, and she is just....unbearable to live with, but alas...she is my sister and there's not much I can do about it.

just 6 more years.

Why 6 years?

Speaking of siblings, thankfully I have none, but on the other side, I have to support for my mother and no one is here to help me + I have to continue the family tree somehow. Being the only child isn't really all fun and games unless you live in a rich family, BUT again there is high chance you will become a spoiled kid, not to mention very skimpy.

I have no siblings, however I do have 'step siblings' who are all 7-9 years old, have iphones, argue over everything, curse, spit, throw ****, and are just complete little ****s all the time. I still want kids though, but I would love to be living alone right now because h8 my mom and h8 my dad and h8 all of my family and can't stand living with any of them.

My brother is such a little demon I'm telling you. He makes me suffer nightmares so often that I tend to never get a good sleep, in fact last night he was stealing a plate of roast chicken that I heated by myself and boy he almost tried stabbing me with a fork. I did get the plate eventually but sadly ended up not eating the chicken after discovering he was going to leave it cursed, and now I hate roast chicken.

Every time he provokes me, I can never calm myself down because all I can think of is revenge and payback. His violence and disrespect is probably due to him being a video game addict.

My sister lives in Ohio, sometimes she would get rather cranky while she lived with us back in the day before moving to college. But my twin brother, oh goodness, sometimes he would tick me off so much, not only for him sometimes snapping at me for no apparent reason, but because he could be a gigantic hypocrite (i.e. he tells me not to call him names, he calls me names and doesn't care in the slightest). I don't live with either of them anymore, it's been five years since they were both done and it's been a year since the bro graduated from college, so they're off without us now.

I really wonder how people feel like when they move out from their parents and siblings, finally start living by themselves, independent. I don't know that feeling since I have to support my mother since she's very ill and I don't have any siblings. Share your first time moving out from your family folks!

I'm an only child, boo-yah!

As for moving out, i'm not sure if it was just luck on my part that my move out went smoothly, but it wasn't anywhere near as stressful as I thought it'd be. The independence is definitely awesome, though.

I have a younger sister. She's 11 years younger than me. She's in her "I do whatever I please" teenage phase. It's extremely annoying when I look back and realize I never did what she was able to at that age. My mother always tells me it's because the first child gets over protected or whatever, but I still see it as a bit of a slap in the face

Well, it's gonna depend on the choices she makes. Out of the three sisters (including myself), she's the most tremendous in terms of behavior according to my mom. She's been acting like a 15 year old since she was 9. She even went to an older-age party last school year, and my mom ALLOWED her to go.
