Flamingos and cassowaries are my favourite White Mage and Berserker types respectively
 
Resplendent quetzals, scissor-tailed flycatchers, and painted buntings are some of my favorite birds! When I was growing up, I thought I was going to become an ornithologist someday.

Is Hatoful Boyfriend any good? I was considering buying it because the concept/story seemed hilarious.
 
Best bird is the penguin. Any penguin. They just slide around on their stomachs, catch fish and have iceberg parties beneath the northern lights. Now, that's the life.

Who else wants to go the Arctic Circle? Anyone?
 
Climate change is bollocks. And not bollocks as in 'untrue, ridiculous, stupid', but a real pain. Poor fish. Poor birds who cough after planes fly past and shower them in exhaust. Poor children who won't see the sky for the smog. Poor PC people who don't drink enough tea.

Oh god life is depressing. It's time to write a Castlevania-esque story to vent my twisted spleen.
 
Sometimes I think that it'd be fun to shoot gigantic birds out of the sky. Skeksi-type birds. The size of whales. With torpedoes. Maybe a harpoon gun if a thirst for challenge warrants it. But only if the birds were predatory and evil, of course. Though budgerigars have it coming...

Fuck, that'd make for a great hobby. Otherwise hunting dinosaurs would be brilliant. Except triceratops'. They're precious.

Yes.

You will start out playing it ironically and laughing at bird shenanigans and then by the end you will be crying real tears because the story takes such a dramatic turn.
 
I bought Hatoful Boyfriend a few years back because it was cheap and "why not, this might be good for a few laughs at least." I don't think I got very far in, but I blame being distracted by other things instead of not liking it, and I just haven't gotten back to it yet.

But if it's better than I thought, I might have to get back to it sooner rather than later. :thinking:
