I've discovered that my internet at work is way better than my internet at home which is strange. Obnoxiously though, it doesn't extend to the balcony, so I can't work outside like I really wanted to when I first started :(
Isn't it like really cold in Chicago because North, and winter... or...? ._.
Business-grade service is often bought with much higher (and often unnecessary) bandwidth allocations than what's available for home installations. And if your work has fibre but you don't at home, then even more so. I want to move so bad, I'm tired of this crap copper connectivity <_<
Actually, I wonder what sort of fibre connectivity there is in the southwest... it's a big thing to consider since I use the internet so frequently and heavily, and I really miss the heat and dryness of Colorado and would love both of those things together wherever. It's so wet and cold here and I hate it ><
I'm also really really hungry and would love some genuine Mexican food rn. Kris left us some thin sliced steak spiced with whatever spices she uses and it tasted so unique and rich... D:
I really can't bear the cold weather at this point. (Not that I ever could…) I honestly feel like the only person that prefers the warmth over the cold. I live in a suite room that's lower in the dorm building I reside in, and sometimes I start getting chilly at night fast.

Nah, you're like me.. I hate the cold so much. I rather be sweating than cold.. the cold just makes me overall uncomfortable to the point that sometimes I can't concentrate or I even get digestion issues because my body is tense all the time. Hate it soo much.

I like the cold, because no matter how cold it gets, you can keep putting on layers until you're comfortable. If you try the opposite in the heat, the police will chase you.
I like the cold because you can't get all sweaty, which is a real problem here. The one time I can't stand the cold is when I'm wet for whatever reason.
The colder the better, I say. When humidity is present, though, then any extreme temps are just awful. I ought to start getting used to the cold more, as my partner really prefers it, and I like to think back to the quiet and snowy mornings in Colorado and how beautiful it was, what with the wind chimes gently blowing in the air and my boots crunching the snow... it was such a melody to my ears going to school on those days. I might go back to somewhere else in the Midwest at some point for that, but then again Colorado Springs is just unbeatable in weather. Nature loves to show off there!
I've had the heat turned down to some stupid 65 degrees while I was sleeping, but not by my hand. The perp was aware that all I had to sleep with was two summertime blankets and a third cotton blanket on a hardwood floor - one as a pillow, the other as cover, and the cotton as my bed. I woke up at 4 in the morning and bumped it up to 75, because they don't listen to me when I say that maintaining a higher temp in the winter only costs more if your insulation sucks, and that it's only a little more to get it up to that higher temp. :<
I always sleep in warm fuzzy socks and warm fuzzy pants, but that's because my grandma keeps the AC on year round at like 50 something and if I don't wear my winter clothes inside the house then I freeze to death.
