Whether you're in school now or out of it, you can remember that subject you used to await and that subject you always dreaded. What is/was your favorite subject in school? What was your least favorite? Why?

I actually had two subjects I was quite fond of. Those were Physics and Math. I absolutely love them to bits. The thrill you get from solving a complex problem with logic and calculation is to me what an adrenaline rush is to a skydiver. It's amazing xD

A subject I hated would have to be Chemistry, I find it to be extremely boring >~<

I love Portuguese. Learning grammar is way more fun than doing that boring math stuff. I don't think I like any subject besides it though. The only ones I deeply dislike are Math and Geometry, but I don't like the others either. I just have a neutral opinion about them.

Back when I was in high school, my favorite subjects were math and history and I'm fairly good with both of them. My least favorite were anything to do with science as science topics usually takes me a while to understand, but I do have some nice science teachers, though.

Band was easily my favorite. No other subject even comes close, and there are times where I miss it. It was the one shining light in high school, and it's the reason I would actually go each day.

French, on the other hand, was my least favorite. It never clicked for me, and I would spend hours studying just to scrape by with a C. And then there was that one time my French teacher made me skip Jazz Band in the morning to finish some quiz, and I almost got sent to the principal's office during class because I was so passive-aggressive towards her for doing that to me.

My elective courses throughout middle and high school, Art and Orchestra, were always my favorite! I met some of my longtime friends in those classes. I don't play violin much nowadays, but sometimes I really miss playing in an orchestra. It just isn't the same playing by yourself.
My favorite academic courses were always the sciences. Biology and Geology in particular were the best.

As for my least favorite... growing up, some years math just didn't agree with me. However, I loved Geometry class.

My most favorite subject was English. The reason was mostly because it had a lot to do with writing. XD As for least favorite? Math. No explanation needed.

My favourite subject at school was Politics and Law, I really enjoyed learning about governing and legality and the debating aspect that was involved in that class.

My least favourite classes were the business classes I did in year ten, my teacher was terrible and they were horribly boring.

    Algebra, Chemistry and Physics.

At one time Biology would have been one of my favourites. But university drained all the fun out of it for me, so it's probably my least liked subject... other than the obvious arts. Simply because I can't art.

My favorite is probably history. My least favorite is difficult because it changes every year. For example, I despised Spanish last year, but this year it is actually pretty enjoyable. This year I like all of my classes the same because they all aren't that bad, but they all have a flaw I dislike (except history). Probably math to be honest.

My favourite subject is English. I have a knack for textual analysis and I'm no slouch at creative writing. Interestingly, a creative writing piece I submitted a little while ago has quite literally proven to be a life-changer.

My least favourite (and worst) subject is Maths. There's something about it that's just never clicked, and I tend to panic the most during Maths exams.

I liked History and English, and I'm probably one of the fewer girls in my school who really enjoyed P.E. Least favorite was math and science.

Are we just talking academics or can I mention electives? Because I loved all my electives in high school, they were so much fun.

Spoiler: ramble ramble so many electives sry
Cooking was a blast (hated washing dishes though, which we had to do on rotation) - the one thing I hate about cooking at home is the cleaning up part, gathering supplies, etc, so it's so nice being in a well-stocked and organized classroom with everything, so many people helping clean up afterwards, and just being able to cook with your friends.

Same with sewing. Getting out the sewing machine and supplies is a hassle at home even though I love making things, so it was really nice sewing sweaters and skirts in class (and getting good grades for it :P).

Woodworking/Electronics - I'm lumping these together because honestly I liked the woodworking part of Electronics class more than soldering and connecting wires anyway. Cutting wood with giant machines is fun.

Photography/Yearbook/Graphics - and lumping these together because I took them as easy A/goof off classes with my friends, but I did end up learning some cool things. Like making my own (crappy but functional) camera out of a shoebox, and developing my own photos in a darkroom. Most of the time we were just allowed to freely wander outside of class to take pictures though, which was awesome.

I think my least favorite elective was Drama, which I had to take in grade 8. Not much of an actress, but we did play little improv games that were fun.

In terms of academics though, I've always said English was my favorite because it was my best subject, but looking back I always enjoyed Science classes as well. I really liked dissecting things and I found the material pretty interesting.

Least favorite would be Math in general, because it was so boring. I always got pretty bad grades in it all throughout high school, but not because I didn't fully understand the topics and concepts - class was always about doing equations over and over and over, and I just wasn't a fan of the monotony.

More of an elective but since it was required at least once I want to say Home Ec was my favorite class all throughout school. Of the rest of the subjects I'd probably say Literature since I enjoyed the readings quite a bit but I can't really say that I have a definite favorite since I kinda hated them all :x

of the "four core classes" or what have you, my pick is definitely English. I love analyzing literature and writing and language and everything. I even love learning about grammar conventions. my least favorite is either math or science -- it's not how my mind is wired and I rarely do as well in those classes as I do others.

I love History or Geography the most as I find learning about the past or current events around the world interesting. 8)

Maths is okay but it's not one of my favourites. I hate Geometry but outside of that, it's not that bad.

Least favourite subject... I don't know, really. I find my English teacher very dull whilst I get muddled a lot in science so I'll go with one of those two?

I like history the best, especially now that our lessons involve world history instead of just the history of our country - which I've probably been studying for about seven years. I just find it really fascinating to learn about other people and how they lived in the past. English used to be a favorite, but now it's getting a bit boring to be honest. :/ My least favorite subject is Math, and Science is usually a hit or miss depending on the lesson.

Wish we had elective subjects like drama or band, would've made school a lot more fun. :(

My favourite was always art, I really enjoyed it, aside from that I liked PE and geography.
I absolutely despised math, and still do to this day.
